Check with your mortgage company.  This number called over and over and is Bank of America.  They bought my son's mortgage loan from Countrywide and the payment went up by a few dollars a month because of changes to his escrow account, but he had thrown the notice away (since he does autopay through his bank online and "NEVER looks at them"!), and it was them trying to let him know that they could not accept a "partial payment" for his mortgage.  Two lessons learned:  A) DO NOT THROW anything from your mortgage company away without looking at it, and 2) ...doncha love Paul Reiser? lol  B) Do not assume these numbers are scam artists, as I did, and ignore them. You can call your bank's 800 # and punch in your loan # and they will tell you your last pmt amt & date received and when the next pmt is due and the amt. If this different from what you think it should be, call them!

Bank of America is calling me days and night on this number.  I believe this number belong to third company that bank of America has hired to harass people.  The callers are rude and asking for money.  Bank of America ha giving this collection agency your social security and all the banking information.  This company is scamming people.  As I was reading someone else post; yes, I agree that” Bank of America has committed a Federal Crime by releasing your private information. Bank of America needs to be sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  Bank of America needs to be investigated for fraudulent activities; due to releasing private information.  I am begging God to bring that day so justice done.

Dear readers please report bank of America to CFPB, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for their fraud and scam as I did.  CFPB has told me they will investigate.  They will take this matter very serious if more people go to their website and complete a complain form.

    Their web site is http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

Thank you and God bless you for complaining to CFPB.

debt collector.... replies to TRY THIS!!! - Found Online
lol thats sad there is not a "do not call list" when a debt collector calls. They have the right to contact you until you go through the verfication process and request a cease and desist. I think it is so cute when people inform me to take them off the list and hang up.it doesnt work that way..

Well this 1800-699-0102 is still add it.I'm glad I found this website becasue I was going crazy! They tried to tell me that if anyone doesn't pay by the 1st that they will call to make arrangements to take your payment over the phone. Well, I'm never late and it is only the 5th of the month so I'm well within my grace period. I went OFF on the lady (i actually felt bad) but only becasue my experience with BAC has been so horrible. I went into BAC main office and they verified that this was scam number- they are NOT BAC and my loan was in good standing. There has to be away to block this company up for harassing people- playing with peoples homes is no joke! i called the # back and it says they BAC and they have all my account info. CREEPY!!!!!!!!

This is Bank of America who is calling. They are an agent or division of Bank of America who has been charged with improving BOA's cash flow by harrassing their customers into paying their mortgages quicker. They make bonus money if you pay quicker than the last day of the grace period. I suggest everyone who gets called by them delay your mortgage payment until the last possible day of the grace period. You can pay at any BOA bank on that last day of the grace period without penalty.

I have been getting these calls from the 800 # when I answer there is no one there. I was granted a modification 15 months ago and have not missed a payment. Last week B of A revoked my Modification and are now forclosing on me and my three kids.  What the heck. Is this legal, what do I do. I did everything asked of me and they now come in and reverse there decision without warrant.

Rec d a call from this no a few minutes ago,who identified themselves as BoA and they were recording the call for quality assurances.  I said, hold on, I m going to record this as well because I told them in the last call they did not have my permission to call my cell......he said he would have to release the call if I was recording.  I asked why since they were recording me and he repeated himself and released the call.

Seek a lawyer. That is an old switch and bait Bank of America is pulling on hundreds, if not thousands of homeowners: lull them into a loan modification where the homeowners thinks he/she is alright, and pays thousands of dollars to BOA, then Bank of America suddenly starts foreclosure to steal your house. Why? Because when BOA forecloses it will get your entire homeloan paid in full and any 'arrears' through the GSE insured homes. So BOA first drains the unsuspecting homeowner from as much cash as possible, then dives for a foreclosures to then get your house mortgage paid in full through a GSE, a double theft and whammy to the unsuspecting homeowner. Unfortunately, you will have to hire a lawyer who is a trial lawyer and will fight in court to show you were in a loan mod---this will cost you money and you will be further drained financially, but it is the only way to keep your house, short of filing bankruptcy, if you are in States that have this option and getting the court in the middle on a Chapter 13---even so, after it is said and done, Bank of America may try once more evilly to start foreclosure on you. Organized crime, that is Bank of America.

Got a call from this number claiming it was Bank of America.  I ask what it was about and he couldn't tell me anything except that it was related to the X street, which so happens to be the street I live on.  Then he wanted me to verify using my social security number and other information and I refuse to give that to him.  Did some research and it turns out that number was from a debt collector.  We've never been late on any payments and have no debt.  Don't Trust these guys and Don't give out your personal info ever!!!!!

im not stupid so i put the number into google and was brought to this page. we do have a mtg w boa, we made out last payment late, had to pay late charge fee- that was it, payment are all on time prior to this one.

i have no idea why (some unk co does this) if she went to some of my neighbors they may chase behind her if she starting running away from there doors. we live in the sticks. almost off the grid. after all i still have dial up still for internet.

Well I am renting a house and I keep getting these  envelope on my door knobs. This is the second one I got. I am not sure what it is or if my landlord is late on her mortgage, which I hope not, since I pay him every month on time for the past 1 1/2 years. I wish I could catch the people putting this on my door so I can ask the questions about it.
