- Jill replies to Did not get caught in the fraudWatch out! Not only is this company calling...they sent a postcard to call them to verify occupancy of my house. I decided look up their number and saw all bad posts!!Their return address is Bank of America c/o Safeguard Properties, PO Box 94869 Cleveland, OH Thanks for the heads up.
- MeeThey may or may not be calling me, I have a fax machine on the line. Some unidentified woman from "Bank of America" stopped by my house today (my day off) and handed me a small manila colored envelope. It had a card in it with this phone # and some instructions in English and Spanish wanting me to call in. The card was printed but my name and the phone number were hand written with a felt pen. Country wide funding was bought and renamed Bank of America. Country Wide has (had) one of the worst records for client abuse, racisist policies and class action suits, including lost class action suits. They STILL have pending lawsuits! I don't believe that B o A (Bunch of [***]) would use Countrywide in place of their own name. I would recomend that everyone steer clear of this phone #. I would also recomend to anyone who wants to finance-refinace a home with B o A, to look up Countrwide and B o A's track record since the economic crash. B o A took the most money offered for the 'bail out' (and are still taking it!) Yet the have a higher percentage of forcloseures than the rest of the other finance companies.

- dave mckeeI get calls from this number at all times of the day or night.ussally if I answer it no one is there,or if there is they will not say why they are calling but ask for all kinds of personal information.they say they need that info first before they can say why they are calling.sounds like a scam.
- Kisha50I had a lady in Feb and a guy today both come to my home, take pictures of my house, and left a yellow envelope with IMPORTANT PLEASE CALL on a yellow piece of paper and my last name and this 1-800 # handwritten in. I reported it to our local fraud department and I called BOA fraud department reported it and took it to our local BOA bank and nobody had any idea who they are? The police department said when they called them, it was a debt collector for BOA but would only state they were based in Texas and would not give their physical address. The fraud officer said they sound legit and if it is a scam they are very organized. I would like to get to the bottom of this but with so many scams going on, I am afraid to call the number and give out any information.

- LrodThey actually came to my house and put a door hanger envelope on my door. Inside contained the card with the date, contact number and contact person that I am suppose to reach. I did a search and told me it was coountrywide loan. Amazing they would come to the house.

- JoGot a call, she id'd herself as working for BoA, and calling regarding an inquiry I had with them (?) Said she needed to get my last 4 digits of ss# and address before proceeding (!) I told her to give me info on what inquiry? She said she could not disclose that, unless I would give her the info first. Told her I don't give info to people who call me, as I don't know who I am speaking with. She left me this phone# for me to call back and see that it was BoA.
Google it and voila! I am not calling them or answering the phone when they call me.- Caller: Bank of America

- EducatorReceive multiple calls from this number stating they are 'Asset Recovery'... I also received a letter in the mail from 'Asset Recovery'... the last time they called I attempted to pick it up and then they hung up the phone before anyone answered?
- Sick of ItI get calls almost every morning at work that often hang up as soon as I answer. They give thier call back number as 800 669-0102. I called B of A (using the number on my statement) and asked about the 0102 number and was told that it is not a B of A number. I told them that the caller ID from the calls shows 888-325-6427 and B of A said that is not their number either. Supposedly about a business matter and they just need to "verify my identy" including asking for my SSN. I don't give them the info, but when I call the number back, the voice mail message is a close copy of the real one from Bank of America.
Bottom line, when I called Bank of America directly using a number that I know tto be theirs, B of A said that neither 8006690102 nor 888-325-6427 belong to them. Beware!!!- Caller: claims to be Bank of America
- MichelleNo call but had a flyer on my door telling me to call this number and "please be ready to give your account number" found these posts when I searched the number.
- law checker replies to TRY THIS!!! - Found Onlineactually, that's only for TCPA violations so learn your legal facts. you only get $500 if and only if you are contacted on your cell phone and you have previously said no to the script "when we contact you with information about your account, we may contact you using an autodialed call or leave pre-recorded messages. will that be ok?" because then a violation of TCPA has occurred. and the 1.800.669.0102 number is for loan servicing with BOA. so before you try to show out and give bad advice, you might want to check your legal facts first.

- NinaGot a call yesterday... was suspicious asked for a call back number (this is the number given). I then went into my branch office of BofA and was told this is a fraud call attempting to get my information. I have no outstanding charges or payments due on my home loan. Nothing. No reason for anyone to call me.
This is not Bank of America. The officer at the branch office of Bank of America called the number and said that it appears to be a recording of a bofa automated phone answer. Do not give your information.
They called me twice more today.
First time she said that it was Alicia from Bank of America
I Replied,"Alicia, don't even try it."
She replied, " Have a nice day" and hung up

- KathyThey are calling multiple times a day on my home phone and my husband's business phone. My mortgage account is current, never past due. Two days ago they called once an hour for 4 hours. I was sick with a migraine and the 2nd time they called asked that they stop as my husband wasn't home and wouldn't be until the following morning. An hour later another call. An hour after that, yet another.
