- missouri residentI worked out a plan with a countrywide rep last week to move my mortgage payments back 3 month while I recover from back surgery. Everything was a go until a week later I started getting the calls from 8006690102. Finally I talked to a guy which I could hardly understand. He said that bank of america just bought out country wide and wanted the rest of my finance statements to get a better understanding of my situation. I only gave my cell phone number to countrywide and he knew the date when I was returning back to work. Im thinking this is probably not a phising scam. I told him That I would contact my local countrywide office for verification. Is there a saying that .. (If it seems to easy then it probably will not be!) Thats the case in my case!
- Caller: Bank of America
- NicoleGuy from Bank of America called me today from this number...said my mortgage was short. We checked and, sure enough, we must have typed in the wrong amount when paying online...so he must be connected to Countrywide somehow...he even knew the date we paid.
- Caller: Bank of America?
- Totally AnnoyedHas called my cell every hour for the past 24 hours. I am a customer in excellent standing with Countrywide/Bank of America. I had to address this previously with Countrywide because they were calling to see if I was "going to be making my payment". I call Countrywide and got it stopped. Now since Bank of America took it over it is happening again. Never did like BOA.
- KarenSomeone saying they needed my mortgage account number or my social security number. I asked who she worked for and she gave me a name I didn't recognize. I told her she had the wrong person and she said that because she was a debt collector it was in my best interest to give her my social security number.
HAHAHAHAHA as if!!!!- Caller: Countrywide
- Alexis ArteagaThis number has called me almost daily for the past two months. This has got out of hand and i would like to know how to fix it. I am not a member of the organization that is calling, so i can not get anyone of their employees to help.
- DisgustedThe message left said it was Bank of America calling about my home loan. I do not have a home loan with BOA. When I call the 800 # I found out it was a debt collector with Countrywide and they asked for a ss#. Where can I report these people? I am on the Do Not CAll list and it obviously does not work
- carol| 1 replyWONT STOP CALLING CONSTANTLY IM 19YRS OLD AND LIVE IN AN APPARTMENT I DONT HAVE A MORTGAGE!!!
- LinetteAre you sure they are Countrywide? Countrywide has been bought out by Bank of America, I think. Anyway, I have started receiving calls from this # on Saturday. I do not know who they are, so I don't answer and they don't leave a message.
- David in SummervilleI'm glad I found this site. Not only do I now know who is calling me, but I found out that I *DIDN'T* underpay last month for my ELOC. I got a message about having underpaid by $4 and change, even though I *know* I put in the right amount. I mean, I didn't get a late fee, so it's not a big deal, but it was a bit annoying that they made me question myself.
- BLL/NevadaI hate BofA anyhow and why CountryWide would allow them to call and call and call and besides that, give them a list of names & numbers is beyond me. I even talked to a ORIENTAL voice and told her to stop calling and hung up. Perhaps CountryWide is going to sell to Japan.
- MiF SOMEONE IS GOING TO CALL...REGARDING AND ACCOUNT.. IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL IF THEY TOLD YOU WHO THEY WERE CALLING FOR.. KINDA HARD TO KNOW WHAT ACCOUNT IT IS REGARDING, WHEN THEY TELL YOU NOTHING!!!!
- DonnaI am on the "no call list" so these daily calls are illegal and unwelcome. You pick up the phone and no one says anything, so why bother calling
- Caller: countrywide

Subject: ******** (Form1088 Filed Via The Internet) - OlgaSomeone from this number calls my cell or private home phone number all the time. Sometimes it would be a message and others a real person. They asked for my account, social and address but of course I don't release any information. They bug me about mortgage payments being late and asked for a credit card or bank account. Once my husband asked to talked to their supervisor and they hang up. I truly want them to stop calling!
- VickiI receive 20 or so phone calls a day from 800-669-0102. It says its from Bank of America home loans. I have never been a Bank of America customer ever and I've had this number problem-free for the past 6 years.
Do NOT give them any information! I have called Bank of America and they cannot help me. Talked to their privacy professionals, signed up on donotcall.gov, and called Countrywide directly.
I'm going to end up changing my phone number. With people sick in my family I cannot afford to get junk phone calls like this over and over! - VickiOk I called:
Countrywide Financial Corp.
Customer Service#
1-800-669-6607
About getting 30 phone calls a day from: 800-669-0102. They said they had a customer with my phone number that is now defaulting on their loan. Thats why I've been getting an abundance of phone calls lately. The customer service changed their customers phone number 000-000-0000
So lets hope it works!!! I'm hopeful! - Carmen L. StolteThey call all the time, night and day. I do have a Mortgage, but Countrywide only was servicing the account, but they refused to tell me who was my Mortgage holder. Today, from this number is Bank of America, a Linda Glover, and I was informed that I was being recorded. So I asked that they call me back on my Home Phone number, so I could record what is being said, but that was not an option for me. She became very upset and angry, when I did not wan to listen to what she had to say. She gave me another telephone number of 1-800-669-0124, if I wanted to verify who she was and who she represented and that number is not a workin number. I did call back to the telephone number above as stated below, they wanted my SS# and/or account number, which I gave them neither. Who are these people and they need to work more professionally? I do not communicat with people that cannot and will not identify themselves properly and profssionally.
