This is a continuation of the previous message which did not stay in place when I tried to put it in there. We sometimes get this recording of a happy, chirpy voice urging us to call Citicards and anybody there would be happy to assist us. It claims not to be a sales call. It went on to say what hours and days that they were open. I know their little trick here and I'm not falling for it. I read in the other responses that Citicards was bailed out by the federal government. I'm not surprised that a government-bailed out company is calling my house 4 times or so per day.

They call every day. I have perfect credit. Over one month ago, they promised to stop. It wasn't for me. I have had this number 12 years now. They kept calling.

    They need to be sued.

    I will if they continue.

Get on the National Do Not Call list. If you don't have an account with them, you can sue them for cash, or file a complaint online after 31 days on the Do Not Call list.

    I have received 5 calls in one day from this number.  I do not answer it due to not ever being home.  No name comes up on the caller id so I decided to google it and realized I was not the only one getting this many calls.  I have never owned a Citibank Sears MC (as that is what everyone on here is saying it has to do with).  They called me on March 30, 2011 at these five times;
    12:18pm
    2:01pm
    3:50pm
    5:38pm
    7:29pm
*****This is crazy, who thinks its okay, or even professional to call someones home that many times in one day? Today they only called once (3/31) and that was at 8:13pm.  I will keep everyone posted as to what I find out. I am going to begin answering these calls not that it may make any difference but I want this to stop. It is ruining my land line with it blowing me off the hook with junk calls. It is ridiculous.

Receive calls from this number. Have a Sears Card and am behind on it. In the past Citibank has written us about collecting on the Sears Card. If you want it to stop, just write Sears/Citibank and let them know you no longer want any calls, that they may contact only via written form through the USPS Mail.

These people call every day. It is a robo call. There isn't anyway to talk to a human. I contacted Citibank Sears. Those jerks ask for my account number. I explain that I don't have an account. They say that they can't help. Once I reached someone and they said they were trying to collect an old debt. I have had this number for 12 years, and I don't owe them money. Sears Citibank is a bunch of criminals blatantly violating debt collection practices.

I sent the jerks a letter. The letter stated that they don't have an account for me at the phone number that I gave them. No joke! They hadn't read the letter. The letter gave me a number to call at Sears. I called them, and they said I don't have an account for me. They asked if I wanted to activate an old account. Fat chance.

I am preparing to sue them for do not call violations. I recommend everyone do that. Register your number on the do not call list and after 30 days log every call. The law gives $500 to $1,500 per call after that point.

It is actually Sears Citibank, so I wouldn't worry about identity theft. However, they will still call you. I did the same thing, verified with them my social, and they verified that I didn't have an account or owe them money. They promised to stop. They haven't.

Let's get the home number for the Citibank President and robo call his house five times a day.

    Jerks.

Your solution only works if you have an account with them. I don't. Therefore, they can't log not to call the phone number for a given account. Even though the idiots robocall my number, they won't tell me whose account it is, but that it is over ten years old. The calls continue.

Sue them for Do Not Call violations.

Let's get the phone numbers for all executives at Sears Citibank and call them at home!

    They are jerks.

I hate them so much now, I won't buy anything from Sears ever again. I did like their tools and appliances, but they can go to hell.

I received 2 call from them on 04/30/2011.  I called back and pressed 1 for English, then it asked for my account number.  (I don't have an account.)  I pressed something, (maybe a pound symbol), and the Voice Response Unit said it did not understand my input so I pressed 0 next.  I was routed to an operator and as I was working with her, the line went dead.  I called back and got someone else and told them to stop calling me.  I also provided my mailing address and said if they had business with me that they should send mail.  I have a secure mail service and I don't recommend that others provide their mail address.
