- NYI got a missed call from this number.
When I called back and asked who they were the woman at the other end of the line identified the company as NRA. This woman repeatedly started asking for my phone number starting with my area code. When I asked again who I was talking to, she then said something completely unintelligible. When asked again to identify herself properly, she became very rude and demanded my area code and phone number and my personal info. I did not give in, and demanded to know who she was. The woman hung up.- Caller: NRA
- debt collectorif you want to help stop the calls pick up and immediately say "I need to inform you this call is being recorded state your name (real or not) and ask how can you help them. If you arent the person tell them on (____date at x:xx am/pm I am informing you this is a wrong # for the person you are reaching please do not call this number again." Have it on speakerphone just for kicks or actually record the call if you want these people to stop you need proof and if you tell any collector you are recording the call if they are a real company they will watch their tone you can sue them just for using an aggressive tone of voice read up on the fdcpa laws in your state it's worth the google. that just my personal advice i collect and when i hear that i'm on my p's and q's and they have to give you a miranda warning on the call also or they can be sued and if they tell anyone that isn't you that they collect debts or you owe a debt you can sue lots of ways to make it out just do it right....anyway they called me I didn't answer and I always immediately skip trace unknown numbers when they call back i'll answer and use my strategy and post how it works.mboykin

- Leanne| 1 replyThese people have been calling my phone number repeatedly for three years now looking for a Susan somebody that I've never before heard of. At first, I thought it might have been her number at one time and we just got it when we moved to the area. It totals over a dozen times now that I have called them back and informed them it is NOT her number, I do NOT know her, take this number off your records and do NOT call again! Each time I have been assured that it would be, but sure as sure, six months later the calls start again!!!
- stefanie graveskeeps calling. no1 says anything when i answer. this is getting stupid of them.

- Just METHIS IS A COLLECTIONS AGENCY
Harrisburg, PA 17106-7015
Phone: 1-800-360-4319 or 717-540-5605
Fax: (717) 540-4810 or (800) 360-9954
Email: inquiry@nationalrecovery.com
Request that you be removed from their list. When they continue, follow instructions on this website to report them (if you are on the Do Not Call List): http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/
HERE IS HOW THIS COLLECTIONS AGENCY WORKS. Say you dont pay a Sears Bill, or JC Penny Bill or somebody takes your card like your roommate and charges stuff on it and you refuse to pay it because they sold them the stuff and did not check their ID. (Which happen to ME)
This Company Buys Bad Debt from Sears, JC Penny and other stores and cell phone companys and pays Pennys on the Dollar for the Bad Debt and your account. Then they call you and harrass you constantly day in and day out and try to get you to pay. Its already on your credit report as bad debt so they cant put more stuff against you. If they are Rude just tell them to F OFF and change your number if you can. They are relentless and will call you constantly. Dont put up with their threats or crap just cuss them out if they get bitchy with you.- Caller: National Recovery Agency / NRA
- Merle More1-800-814-6500 has been calling me for the last three months. They call in the middle of the day and leave the call back no. mentioned and a name to ask for. When I call back, they refuse to tell me what kind of business they are or represent unless I tell them the phone no. they called.
Annoying to be constantly called. Is there anything I can do about it? If so, what?- Caller: NRA Group
- MajeralI just started getting calls from them , they have their number blocked . The message was very hard to understand, It is a collection agency and they "won't give any information " only for the person at this phone number, well I am not calling, and I have no problem shutting off my phone !
- Txoctanei got a call from them today, have been getting calls from them in the past, and chose the remove number from list option in the menu, guess what they called again after that, so i chose option 1 that i was the person they were calling for, lol. the agent answers the phone, and tarts to proceed as if i am the person that they are looking for. Well i told that i was not the person that they were looking and that i have requested the number be removed from their call list, and that the person they were looking for should not be connected with my phone number since i am the owner of that phone and have been for more than 3 years, they said that they would remove my number. So today when i saw the caller ID i hit option 1 again, i asked what the name of the company was, they said The NRA group. then i told them that they have called this number repeatedly and i have told them that i wanted the number removed from the list, the woman tried to lie and say that this was the first time that they called me. So, i said ok pulled out my notebook and started naming dates with calls from 1-800-814-6580 that was on my caller id. The next thing i heard was the woman hang up the phone. So i called them back and got the voicemail, and i left a message stating that i have repeatedly asked for my number to be removed and that i am keeping a log of the dates & time that they called, each time they call, and that i will be contacting an attorney and filing suit against them for harassment.

STOP IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - PamThis company keeps calling my granddaughter's cell phone. She is 11! They won't leave a message. Since this is a pay-as-you-go phone, that's probably just as well. I'm off to register her phone on the DNC.
- Patricia MackieCaller said I owed $47 and some change for some music I bought in 2006...I have an Excellent credit report...No collections...I said I would pay if they sent me a bill because I never received a bill...Caller said they don't do that I could only pay over the phone..When I said I won't do that because I don't know if this is a scam caller hung up on me....

- Kimthey won't stop calling!!!!!!!! Harrassing people! I'm ready to sue them for harrassment!!
- FEDUPThis is the second debt collector to call my new number, since receiving it 3 months ago. I usually don't keep my phone on all day, so who knows how many more there are. Anyway, I couldn't report the first company(Plaza Associates) to www.donotcall.gov because they called before the mandatory 30 day waiting period was over, but I've already reported this one!!!

- JulieI have been on the do not call list for more than 3 years. No one has called me but them. I was reading the "exempt" businesses from this. Does anyone have more information? Are they "exempt"?
- Daniel Adams'm getting the same calls. Just tell them you want a written statement of the debt mailed to you through the U.S. mail (which Federal law says they have to provide if you ask for it). Sign #1 that they can't be trusted is that they won't want to do this--they'll want you to pay over the phone. Sign #2 is that they may also not have your current address.
- Anonymous| 1 replyI think everyone should call that home phone number for the owner that someone posted a few pages back. Call it all hours of the night and day. Probably won't help anything but it would irritate them like they do us.
