Report a phone call from 800-927-2291 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- ShawnFor months we have been getting harrassing calls from the number 800-297-2291. Regardless whether we answered or let the answering machine answer the call, we'd get a hang up. Having no idea who was responsible, we changed our cell phone. Our home phone is unlisted. We are on the DO NOT CALL registry, but the calls to the home phone continued at least 2x a day, every day, any hour. WE did not renew a SEARS PROTECTION SERVICES policy several months ago. Thank you to the individual who identified them as the source of these calls. This does not make us want to do business with them, for sure. To file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission call 1-877-382-4357.
- JoseTodo el dia estan llamando de este numero y ya nos tienen artos ya no se que hacer por lo menos son 6 o7 llamadas al dia.
- sallythey keep calling, i about broke my foot trying to get to the phone, i answer, they hang up on me!
this happens about 8 times a day, it is really starting to piss me off! - LolacI do not answer 800 calls, but I was getting 2-3 calls PER DAY from this number. Today after the 2nd call before 9 am, I called the number back. It was Sears Protection Service and I told the person I wanted the calls stopped immediately. She said my number was now removed and that the calls would stop. We'll see.
- Caller: Sears Protection Service
- amberCalling multiple times a day, every day
- JoAnn SoldanoI have been receiving calls from 800-827-2291 - evenings and weekends - - I do not answer and no message is left. I have reported this number in the past several times and am on the registered do not call list. Don't know who they are -
- KAKThis number keeps calling me. I do not answer 800 numbers unless they leave a message telling me why they're calling. After reading this website, I learned that it's Sear wanting to extend the warranty. I've done this for the past 3 years, but I won't do it again. Why? Because, 1... It's too expensive and money is tight now, and 2. Because I live in rural area and Sears will only sent a repair person on Thursdays. Well guess what? My appliances only break on Wed, Thurs or Fridays, which means I have to wait a WEEK for a repairman. And, All 3 times, that repairman didn't have the part he needed to fix our appliance, so we had to wait ANOTHER WEEK for him to come back the next Thursday. Once, the part didn't come in and we had to wait yet ANOTHER week! I'd rather take my chances with a local repair person and get my appliance worked on and back running with in a few days NOT a FEW WEEKS!
Sorry Sears.. Your warranty service Sucks for us country folks!
KAK - Jeffrey LarsenSears called..obvious computer call and I hung up on them. What happened to the no-call list for Sears? We are on the no call list (no solicitation)
- Caller: Sears
- Carol CSick of them calling 7 days a week all hours. Says Sears Protection and the 800 number on ID. Want the calls to stop. A lot of good it does to have a no call registry if he is not going to work. Seems like when you do an update they get worse.
- Fed UpSears trying to sell a warranty on a stove we were given as a gift. I've spoken to three different people now to get them to stop calling me and they keep calling. Five times a day starting at 8am and going until 8:30pm.
Now, I just pick up, say hello so that the automated system will transfer the call and then put the phone down. Figure I'll waste their money like they waste my time.- Caller: Sears
- E. G.They call at all hours of the day. How do I make them stop?
- LHow can I stop the calling. I did just buy a vacuum from Sears. They asked me if I wanted a warranty when I was in the store. I said no to any additional warranty. I want them to STOP CALLING.
- Fed up in Va!They have called me at least 20 times in the last month, because my warranty plan has expired already, but never leave a message. What do we have V/M for?? I do not want the freakin' warranty to be extended!! It costs too dern much!! I'll take my chances with repairs. I will never buy another extended warranty again!! Too much crap when it expires!
- KnonamI contacted the phone company and they will block this number as well as 1-800-827-6655. These both list as Toll Free, but seems that it is from Sears Protection Plan. I also went to sears.com and had them call me at a cell number(I can block my own calls on this) and immediately a person was on the line. He listed my number on Sears' do-not-call list. But when he asked for a name to go with number I said that was unnecessary since it was only the number which was the issue here. So since their conversations are recorded "in order to serve you better", they now have proof of yet another unhappy customer who just might choose to shop elsewhere....
- Caller: Sears
- Cornelius F. StillKeeps calling at differant times of the day, leaves no message.
- angryatsearsI don't answer 800 number calls. These jerks call 24/7. On Sundays, even at 8:23 in the morning. I finally picked up and screamed at them to stop. Did not know who it was until I did a search on the number. I am writing a letter to Sears Corp to let them know I will never shop there again. (Bought an elliptical machine 2 years ago- sold it at a garage sale last year!)
- T. PerezI called the number back. It was Sears trying to renew a protection agreement on a washer and dryer we bought 8 years ago. I told the CSR that I no longer wanted any protection for my products and to no longer call my home. He said he would put my down for "no solicitation"....We'll see how that goes!
- Caller: Sears
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Diana H.I would like the calls to stop from this 800 number. I NEVER pick up for toll free numbers so it is a waste of time calling. Thank you.
- Caller: 1-800-927-2291
- M. HowardI am receiving calls all hours. In my state they are not to call on Sunday. Guess what they are doing, calling on Sunday. As with all the other people, no message is left. I too am on the no call list. I will be writing immeadiately. Thank you.
