- Jean QWhoever this is called my home at 9:24am (Hawaii time). The caller id only shows them as "800 Service". I'm assuming a telemarketer calling.
- Caller: 800 Service
- Donald BoudreauxBeing called all hours of the day, almost every day.
- DonnaKSears? Then it is a scam. I don't own anything from Sears.
- Caller: Possibly Sears
- Lisa FThey alternate between an unidentified 800 number and another 800 number that identifies them as Sears. They have called four to five times a day, every day for the past three weeks. I thought for sure they would give up by now, but they haven't. I use to be a loyal Sears customer, but Kenmore has gone down the tubes. You have to have protection plans because everything breaks within a few months of the original warranty's expiration!!
- Caller: Sears Protection Services
- Call type: Telemarketer
- smartyI have been getting calls from this # and 1 800 827 6655. If they would only say that they are Sears. I usually renew my protection plans. I do not answer 800 or 888 numbers. They should send a written renewal notice if they won't leave a message wilth a number to return their calls. I do not like this approach. Obviously they feel that they have to catch you by surprise so they can do high pressure sales by phone!
- PiasorIt's Sears, wanting to extend a protection agreement. I called the number back this Sunday morning and told them to stop calling.
- Caller: Sears
- Call type: Event reminder
- S BoogieThis number call me from 9am till 9pm! It's almost like clockwork. They never leave a message or identify themselves. I am on the Do Not Call List, so this is rediculous!!
- JulieSears Protection Services. I spoke with a very nice lady, Ella, who put us on the Do Not Call List. Sears was calling to see if we wanted to extend the warranty we had on our washing machine.
- The Ravens ProjectThe call is from Sears and demonstrates their lack of respect and disdain for the customers. Here is a copy of a letter that I sent to them 2/2010 that shows just how bad Sears is. (Note, they are calling from multiple numbers.)

Re: Rude Unprofessional Telemarketing Calls
To Whom It May Concern:
As you read this letter, please keep in mind that the company who installed our Sears Water Heater, had to come out twice because the installation was done so bad that it failed the county inspection. Keep in mind that the installer actually stole parts to our water heater timer rendering it unusable!
(I actually watched him throw the parts into his tool box… not realizing what he had done until I went to use the timer several weeks later!)
Today, I received yet another rude unprofessional telemarketing call from Sears about renewing a worthless Sears Extended Warranty Service Contract. The call came multiple times from (800) 827-6655, (which has hundreds of complaints posted on the Internet.) The second time they called today, I ended up speaking with a person called Mike, who kept interrupting me. At which point I asked to speak with his manager.
When the manger came on the phone, he identified himself as Mr. Mike Burger. I found his conduct to be rude, unprofessional and condescending. In fact, he was so argumentative, that I even commented that if he continued, I would send off a complaint letter to the Sears Holding Corporation. His reaction was to place the phone on the desk as I listened to him talk to his employees!
I don’t want to ever receive another call from your unprofessional company again!
Sincerely,
Yes, the installation failed inspection by the county and the installer stole items from my home!- Caller: Sears
- Call type: Telemarketer
- CynthiaI also have been getting calls all times of the day. Finally called this number back and they told me to call 847-286-2500 to have my name taken off the list. Hoping this works.
- Caller: Sears
- hlIf Sears CEO's strategy is put out poor major appliance and trying to make money on protection policies by bombarding customers with ROBO calls, I suggest consumer should stock buying appliance bearing Kenmore names.
- Caller: Sears
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MissouriExtremely annoying getting daily calls from Sears using different 800 numbers. I'll never buy anything from them again.
Ditto for our totally dis-functional federal government, including their No-Call Registry.- Caller: Sears
- DJCaller ID just shows the phone number. I do not know who is calling. When a call comes in and no message is left, it's a robo-call. Robo-calls are not illegal. But, they are annoying. I used to answer robo-calls; but, no longer. If I don't recognize the phone number, I do not answer the call. If the caller doesn't leave a message or the message is left by a recording, then it's no loss to me. Legitimate callers will leave messages.
- Caller: don't know
- william snydercalled at 8:00 am no one on the other end why????
- ChamberlyThis 800-927-2291 number keeps calling me and it is unoying so I answered it and i asked who is this and the answering Michine said it was nun of my business so I said shut up and I hung up

- Bye bye searsRepeated servicing warranty extention calls...
That's why they're going out of business...
Customers will just go to companies that don't harass like this...- Caller: Sears contracted service warranty
- Call type: Telemarketer
- treetop2012I called Sears Customer service and asked Sears to delete my phone number from their calling list.
I told Sears that I had told their sales person at the time of my purchase that I did NOT want an extended warranty. - ChuckJust called me at 9:20AM. Idiots. Some moron answered the phone and said "hello, Hello," and then I gave them a piece of my mind. Dufus.
- Caller: ??
- GeoEverytime you get any kind of a call that is harassing, repetitive, or they don't answer, you should write that number down along with the date, time of day, Caller ID, if possible, and then go to www.donotcall.gov and click on "Submit a Complaint". Fill in the form as completely as possible. Your personal info is optional although it makes sense for you to give them your phone number. This is a government agency and it will help them find the people and/or businesses that are doing all of this unnecessary calling. Times and dates help them see just how harassing this calling is. You will need to do this every single time you get a call you consider to be in this category. When enough people do this, it establishes a pattern. It takes all of us to do this but it will be a slow process. The phone companies should also have a complaint process for so that they can take direct action themselves, but they don't, and won't, unless we also file complaints with them.
