Please stop people from calling my cell phone from this number.

its not a scam! get over it

Apparently they're at it again. Several calls from this number lately -
they do not leave a message. I called it, got funny tone when picked up, then recorded message stating AT&T and asked for wireless number I was calling about. Funny - I don't have AT&T wireless.

I get calls from this number every month or so, it tells me that they are ATT and I need to get the account holder for important payment information.  

I am not the account holder, ATT only deals with the main cell phone line on a multi-phone plan.  

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

This is a scam, I repeat ATT will only contact the primary phone number on an account if any payment issues arise.  Even at that the bill comes in the mail and emails will direct you to the ATT page if there are any issues.

It's not if your account is past due. Mine is current and I called AT&T once about this because I get calls like this all the time saying they need to speak to me about my account and it's never behind. The rep. said there is no record on her end that I got a call like that but I did get one not 3 minutes prior and called the rep. on the same number I was called on. Sometimes a message is left and sometime it's not.

Got a call from 1-800-947-5096, caller ID said "AT&T Mobility".  I didn't answer & they didn't leave a msg.

Think is a dangerous phishing scam...they want to extract your social security--other numbers calling me (think are from same people) are : 817-886-8540 (Ft. Worth TX) and 602-445-612 (Phoenix AZ) I think this is a nationwide scam maybe even trying to extort money from past debtors making them feel they are being called by a ligit collector. They say the company is AB Claims but they will give out their location or any info about themselves. They use scare tatics...They want personal information..BEWARE this is a dangerous scam...nationwide  and i'm now going to fill out a complaint with the attorney Gen. office of my state and the other states where the calls are originating........pass along this info to others please! Everyone please file complaint to Attorney Gen. office of your state so they can be caught......

Not At&T  this is a dangerous scam to get your personal info and maybe money from you. The call originates from a landline in Redmond WA not At&T. Give out no infomation...they will not give you there's. the bogus company name is AB Claims.....not a real company....Beware! Report to Attorney Gen. Office please...the more complaints they have the more action they take!

They should do something about these calls.We are elderly and by the time we get to the phone they hang up.Cell? no cell bill so would not think bill collecter,

Um, maybe the way the calls are being handled concerns people. Duh

Just called the number back and it goes automatically to the AT&T pay line. It is a legit call regarding a past due balance.

I received a call from this number after subscribing to att from verizon. They wanted to confirm my address & advise the amount of my first bill & subsquent monthly bills. Also welcomed me to att & asked if I needed any additional information. All seemed in order.

This number called and left a message saying there was an issue with my wireless account. I called back and was greeted with "AT&T" and the caller ID said "AT&T Mobility"

When I explained I wanted no more calls the woman answering (not the man who left the message) asked for my social security number so that she could see if I had any accounts I wasn't aware of. I told her no and refused to give my name but only my number and to not call.

I got this call on Nov. 10, it said AT&T Mobility, I didn't answer and got a message saying I need to call them about my wireless service (I use Boost and haven't had an AT&T account in 12 years). I called back and asked them not to call and they asked me for my wireless number and I said I don't have an AT&T phone and then asked for my SSN which I told them I would not give the asked my name which I also would not give. I just said don't call me anymore.

If this is AT&T they are not conducting business well. If they call me they should know me and my account number and they should never ask my SSN.

I am thinking its a scam.

Im getting very ANNOYING cals from this number during my classes, and cant answer them. Our bills are up to date, I am the only member on the account that is receiving them, and I am NOT the account holder. From what ive been reading, its both a scam AND AT&T.

This is a legit attempt from ATT to collect if your phone bill is pretty late.  Not a big deal.  Just call them and work it out, or pay the doggon bill.

It Could be a scam Yes AT&T is a legit company but people are able to spoof the coller ID and Use there number to get your information and scam you.
