    Perhaps they should leave voicemails.  I personally don't just answer the phone if I don't know the number because lately it's either a spam call, a fraud call, a wrong number call, or just in general probably someone I don't want to talk to call.  I finally had to google this number that keeps calling because they aren't leaving any messages.

    You do understand that without a collections process that our economy would collapse? They have a job to do which is vital to you and your kids that want christmas gifts. How dare you attack someones line of work because your in debt and dont want to be reminded about it. I am also in debt to job chnages however i know what i signed up for , yes i ignore the calls and pay what i can.

    The called and he sounded frustrated and kept asking for me and I just had my mother and brother past away and this call was from a Indian cussing me out and calling my mother and sister all kinds of names and this is actually the capital one card that I have and I let them know about my suctuition andd I don't know why he started cussing me out

    I got a call and was trying to figure out what number this was until I googled it. It is Capitol One and I call to let them know I set up payment arrangement and they were more than nice. The young lady I spoke to said she see the notes but the previous person who I did a chat online with did not put it on the front page but in notes. She stated she would put it on the front page of my account and that should stop the calls. I have never had anything but good experiences with them and they have always been more than accommodating with working with me and helping out. I hae had nothing but good experiences with them for credit card and car payments.

    Yes that is true but I have had so far nothing but good experiences with Capitol One for the last several years and they are more than happy to work with you and make arrangements. This has been my experience with more than one CSR at the company.

    CAPITAL ONE:  Calls 3-4x daily even on Sunday, usually using this number but occasionally a different one.
    Tried calling CEO (above) who is "not taking outside calls."  Going directly to the Attorney General now.

    Yes, it's true Cap One's marketing calls are constant & annoying and the CEO is not taking outside calls.  However, if you call the # on your card for Customer Service, 800 955 7070, you will be connected with very helpful professionals who will make certain you can "Opt Out" of the phone calls.  I was very pleasantly surprised and wish I had done that earlier.  They also provided me with extra security info for my account.  Go for it!
