    CAPITAL ONE:  Calls 3-4x daily even on Sunday, usually using this number but occasionally a different one.
    Tried calling CEO (above) who is "not taking outside calls."  Going directly to the Attorney General now.

    Yes, it's true Cap One's marketing calls are constant & annoying and the CEO is not taking outside calls.  However, if you call the # on your card for Customer Service, 800 955 7070, you will be connected with very helpful professionals who will make certain you can "Opt Out" of the phone calls.  I was very pleasantly surprised and wish I had done that earlier.  They also provided me with extra security info for my account.  Go for it!

    been told it's Capitol One (credit card co), and I called and told them to take my name off ! 2 days ago, and today Oct 3 they are calling again.

    Well I have never been late or ever paid minimum amount and I called customer services from the back of my card and the lady at Capital one said that they don't call you for any late payment or missed payment,  that it be on your bill. And capital one have never ask for my ss#. So as far as I concern it's a scam.

    This # is a scam to get your information.   I had a voicemail left for me several times asking for a name that is not mine.  I called back and it is a "CapitalOne"  automation line.  Asks for "last 4 of card #" and says "try again" , then attempts to ask you for full credit card #.  I hit 0.  Got a live agent who tried to get me to ask me same information, and birthdate and last 4 of social. When I accused them of scam, she got very mean and gave me her "employee ID' and asked that I even check the back of my credit card for the same phone # that I called (which is incorrect).

    "enter last 4"  "try again" "enter full number"

    "let's try your social security #"
    *entered fake #
    "we found your account!"
    transferred to a voicemail for a "debt collection" agency that does not exist.

    i started to count the calls an over the last month or two there has been over 40 calls an counting. every time (hi this is linda) at one point i had to turn my ringer off, i tried blocking but they used another number. cant we sue them for this??????

    We are getting calls from this number literally like 7 times a day, with someone saying something along the lines of "This is Karen from Capitol One, we have been trying to reach you about a personal business matter. Please return this call at 1-800-955-6600. that number again is *Insert number* it has happened as early as 6am and as late as 10pm multiple times a day. We don't answer it as we know it's probably either a scam or otherwise, but we did once or twice and there is someone on the line, but we tell them the person they're looking for is not available or pretend we don't know and hang up.

    I have reported the FTC. this is a Capital one FRAUD scam to try to get your identification, SS#, etc.. Capital One said THIS IS NOT THEIR COMPANY. do not answer just report them to the Federal trade commission. they are phishing to steal your identity.

    ok, this number(800-955-6600) called my house, i am in the hospital my wife takes care of all the bills and phone calls etc... i understand they cannot discus my account with her but she is on paperwork at capital one saying she is my care taker of the bills.  she check the card status and we sent 150.00 on jan. 6th 2018 they cashed it before due date.  and card is far from limit.  SO TELL ME WHAT COULD THEY BE CALLING REGARDING.  ANY RESPONSES TO THIS YOU CAN REACH ME AT EMAIL ADDRESS, frissianne@yahoo.com
