The formentioned number has called family members 813.217.5283 from Tampa Florida. A bankruptcy has been filed and the settle has been processed. If these people continue to make threats to family members or to my place of employment or to me they will suffer the consequences.

Got a call from the same number today, stating the same thing about special investigator, restraining order and so on. I'm an ex cop myself and pretty sure these people are running scams and acting illegally even if they are a legit collections agency. You cant threaten a consumer with criminal action for debts. So, watch out everyone.

I received the same call over a week ago. They wouldn't give me the number for who placed the account. Unfortunately, I gave them my bank card number which I just put a block on so the payment they were trying to get won't come out. They also called my family and left word that I needed to contact them ASAP. I am also going to file a complaint with the FTC.

I received a message from this organization.  They also called some of my family members.  I reported the call to the FBI and will also be filing a complaint with the FTC.  The FBI confirmed that this is a scam.  He advised putting a fraud alert on your credit reports with all 3 credit bureaus in addition to requesting a copy of your credit report.

My wife and i have been recieving calls from this number for around 3 days now. Such as everyone else the messages left for me were the same. Now i keep calling them, lol. The woman said that they would file harrasment charges against me, well good ill see them in hell scamming mother f-ers.

Just curious because I also received a call and the person on the other end of the phone acted very suprise that I hadn't been served. Told her I've been living there for 5 yrs and to this date haven't been served anything. I usually get the calls of me owing the persons are Asian, but the person that called me to tell me to call this 813-217-5283 both were black. Did the deputy every get to serve you? I'm hoping they do serve me cause I'm ready for them and ready to go to court.

I received a phone call 06/22/12 where I was left a message that a restraint & a legal matter was filed against me for a payday loan. The first person that called the number popped up 'Unknown', but she left a message then she called my job & I did speak w/her & her name is Lynn White. When I called the number I spoke w/a black girl, and you can tell it wasn't professional because she wasn't. I gave her the account number that was given to me and she stated that I was being sued for $945 of a loan not paid and would have to come to court and to forward this info to my atty but before I did this I had to make this call. "DON'T TRUST THE INTERNET REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH THEY SAY IT IS SECURE" - IT'S NOT!!!! THIS IS WERE THEY RECEIVED MY INFORMATION, ON A SO CALLED SECURED SITE, BULL. I'M MAKING AN ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE "ATTORNEY GENERAL AND DEMAND THAT THEY DO SOMETHING." LOOK AT THE ELDERLY PEOPLE THEY MAY SCARE INTO SENDING MONEY. I WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND KNOW WHAT THE DEAL IS. WE GO THRU THIS EVERYDAY. IF IT WERE ME THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN GOT ME - WHAT MAKES IT SO DAMN HARD TO GET THEM!!

The person identified as the investigator was Aaron Jones

I also got a phone call message left on my brothers phone for me, and the investigator name was Tina  Charles, She also said that I was going to have the Deputy come to my house or place of employment if I didn't call back. She said someone was taking a restraining order out on me. She didn't say who it was or what the case was about. So I call the Sheriff's Office, and their was no such paperwork out so, the Sheriff's Office said to disregard it until someone comes out to your home. When I call the phone number 8132175383, the man said his name was David Winters, he said I owed $1,010. on a payday loan. I told him I have never in my life taken out a payday loan. He said he was going to forward my case to the courts. He would not tell me who the payday loan was from, no information was given to me at all. All he said is I would have to tell it to the Judge. I said what ever. I am just going to take the Sheriff's advice and do nothing until they come to the front door. I never took out any loan, so I am not going to worry about it.   June 25, 2012.

First, I would like to state the I live in California, not Florida, but have been experiencing all of these same harassing calls from Private Investigator Lisa Braxton of United Legal Systems. P.I. Braxton wants my husband to return her phone call to phone number 813-217-5283. This company has contacted my brother-in-law, my mother-in-law, and myself, always asking for my husband; never once calling him, weird. When my husband called this number back a man answered. He asked my husband for the case number that was given to him. When the man "pulled up" the case number, he gave him a completely different name than either of us or anyone we know. He said it was for a loan that we have never received and know nothing of. Once my husband started asking the gentleman questions the man got very rude, very frustrated, and hung up. All of the information the man had was old and could easily be found in public record. I hope that this fraudulent company gets caught and dealt with accordingly before they can scare, intimidate, or dupe anyone out of any amount of money.

I was told by law enforcement at my place of employment that the reason these calls originate in Florida is because the laws are MUCH more relaxed for creditors.  Collectors can threaten and say almost anything to attempt to get money from the customers.  They are not necessarily legitimate calls/collectors, but I guess the rules help to keep them out of trouble.

I was also called this morning on my cell phone by Tina Charles and referred to call 813-217-5283 and given a case number regarding a suit being filed against me...  I've heard this story and other versions of it so many times.  I am sick and tired of being harrassed by these scammers!  There has got to be something we can do to be protected from them.

I have also been told that this is a form of terrorism - it is one way that the terrorists have of "getting to us."  We are not safe, no web site is total secure... information is readily available if you have the time to search.  These people do this for a living, so they have lots of time!!!

I called the police before and was told to ignore them, do not talk to them, do not verify or give out any information, however, it is very scary that they know so much.  Otherwise, the police said there's not much they can do about it.  This is absolutely ridiculous!  We have got to stop them!

Yes, this happened to me too and luckily, my mother in law is head of fraud department in the bank she works at and we found out its a Fraud Scam Company! These people do this for a living..They are somewhere in Tampa,FL ,with the names and numbers I have, they will be going under investigation..I recommend you change your phone number and check your credit reports.These people don't care about you, they jus want easy money and find a way to scare you and get to your money!!

Yes this fool called me this morning ran once so the number couldnt be save, Let me tell you this is a scam, the court system will sent paper work from them only, they dont not or ever call the person, I court paper most be filed and sent to your address, they court system will never call you, I shouls know I work for the court system, put them on your do not call system and you can sue them if they don not remove your number..Also there are apps for call blocking for your cell, I have an unlisted cell number so it might be someone you know that has given out your number.

This happened to me and TRUST ME, I'm ganna get to the bottom of this! I'm ganna get to the bottom of all this and try to get compensation through a law suit and have them divide all the money they have [***] people over with and everyone who is in their system will get a part of it!!

This number keeps calling me giving the name aaron special investigator. they keep telling me my name is donna gowins and theres a court number with in 48 hours there will be a bench warrent for my arrest. they also told me that im stealing credit cards and using my name kristan beaty as a fraud name. what do i do?

Recieved a call today from special investigator....who was stuttering, couldnt even get the lie out of his mouth! Gave me a case #, called 8132175283, said I owed a old payday loan for 1000...yeah right, said police would be at my door in 24 to 48 hours and good luck to me!! These people are so full of [***]!!
