    I keep getting calls from 816-420-4632 and they will not leave a message. I have asked to be put on the NO CALL list. For some reason they continue to call me. They never leave a message and I do not think it is CITI Bank cause I am not a customer of theirs nor would I be a customer of theirs. Worst service in the financial industry. I had an interview there in 2006. I waited in the lobby for over an hour and once I decided that they wouldn't want to speak to me if I were an hour late for an interview now they are an hour late on an interview so I signed out and I left. From what I've heard their financial services are the same way..An hour late.

    This number is for the credit card company, citigroup, that operates SEARS and HOME DEPOT credit cards. They start harrassing you the minute your card payment is late or is blocked by your bank. This is the truth, not a scam although the way they operate is shady. I found this out after a week of receiving these calls, I decided to pursue this and when they called again I asked what this is in regards to they told me it was in regards to my Home Depot credit card account and that my payment was late. I said no it is not and hung up with them and proceeded to call the number on my Home Depot card. The people at Home Depot informed me that yes, this company does own their store card, and that yes my account was,indeed, overdue. Apparently, my bank had refused the automatic withdrawal that I have set up, due to insufficient funds. when I asked why it said something different on my Home Depot account online (it said the bill was paid and there weren't any problems) the operator informed me that it takes about 2 days for the adjustment to show up online so my account shows paid when in fact it was not.

    I waited 2 days for the right info to show up on my online Home Depot account, then answered when these people called and took advantage of their offer to remove the late fee if I paid that day. I was able to pay online through my Home Depot account, I did not have to give the operator who called me my bank information. Anyway the payment went through and showed up on my Home Depot account 2 days later.

    In my opinion, it was my bank who was at fault- I have overdraft protection set up so they can remove enough funds from my savings account to prevent an overdraft or prevent a payment from being denied. The bank did not use my overdraft protection and did not make any attempt to contact me- they have my cell # to text me in case of overdraft, or call or email. They also refused to remove the $34.95 overdraft charge on my account, even though they screwed up not me. Oh I did receive a letter in the mail from my bank about a week after this was resolved telling me that I had an overdraft and to call them right away to fix it. No thanks, I switched banks immediately after that. I need a bank that does what it says it will do.

    And yes if you call citicard or citicorp, most of the people there will not have a clue. But if you google citigroup and store credit cards, you see how many cards citigroup operates, and there are A LOT. It might be in your best interest to talk to them, you might have the same situation I did or maybe someone has gotten a store card in your name- that happened to a friend of mine her ex got an Old Navy card in her name and she didn't know until he charged $700 and they started harassing her for the money.

    Yeah, I don't like their tactics, but I can't really get mad at someone for trying to do their job.

    Receive a call once a day from this number.  They leave no message, but stay on the line long enough that the voicemail picks up and you can just hear a bunch of static and chatter. Very annoying.

    Just received one of these calls, I could barely understand a word the woman was saying, however, I was able to make out that she was asking for someone other than me.  Told her nobody by that name lives here, and to please not call again.  We'll see if it works.

    The last time this happened, I was receiving calls for someone I've never met or heard of, and they hounded me day and night.  Finally I filed a complaint with the consumer protection division of the state attorney general where the company was headquartered.  Never heard a peep out of that company ever again.  I highly recommend you do this if the company is calling incessantly, despite having the wrong number.  I understand a company wanting to collect a debt, but when you're calling asking for a complete stranger, at all hours of the day and night -- that's against the law.

    I got three calls today from 816-420-4632. today. I don't have a CITI CARD/CITI BANK  account and never will get one.  The calls came in at 1:15PM, 2:15PM and 4:15PM. It was a recording and was telling me to call some number back and speak w/someone about an over due account. I DO  NOT HAVE ANY OVER DUE ACCOUNTS.

    phone number 816 420-4632 is Citibank or Citicorp. They do handle Sears and other private as well as Bank cards. We complained to them, why they are calling and gave them ample information of who we are, name, date of birth, last four digit of SSN and then they could not tell us why they are calling. No clue whatsoever and then we asked to speak to a Supervisor after we chew them out for calling. Our phone is under the DoNotCall registry and before being transferred to a supervisor the idiot must have hung up on us. We have Very Good credit so that was not tolerated! Dirty little abusers like Citibank should not exist on the planet, better to Bank with a Credit Union.

    Its not City Bank or City anything,it's Citi Corp.they handle credit card acnts for Home Depot, Shell oil,among others.They also have online sites where you can pay for any credit card online and they get a few cents from whatever company is getting paid,this addsup fast.but they are not a collection agency.they are calling because you have a card with them.the collectors will start when you dont answer and they get tired of calling. I have 3 of their cards and they aren't so bad,they will try to help,they want your continued business. good luck

    I've received calls from this number countless times.  No messages are left and yet whoever it is keeps on calling.  It's time the FCC step in and do something about this crap.

    Get call many times a day beginning at 8:00 am and ending after 8:00 pm even on Sunday. They never leave a message, and I do not answer since I do not know caller number. My number is on the federal DO NOT CALL list.

    I have been getting this number on my cell phone for about a week. Nobody is ever on the line when I answer. Today they called my work phone number (at a state agency!). I answered and still got no response. This is annoying and embarrasing if they call my work. I don't want co-workers to think I have bill collecters coming after me!
