This is Citti Bank Center call for SHELL OIL cards.
They call saying an account is overdue when it is NOT.
Even if you obtain the central fax number from them and fax proof (check copy and a copy of the Shell bill showing it was paid on time) the calls continue.

They want to lecture you on your responsibility to pay on time even when you have faxed proof it was NEVER late.

Totally irresponsible actions by a large bank center.
They must pay their untrained and simple minded staff by the phone call made.

It's a scam. BEWARE! Never leaves a message, bugs you nonstop.

I have actually filed a formal complaint with the FCC. The complaint number is 13-T01274133. This is the first step in a lawsuit that will be class action. It's a legit number.  I called my Citi Bank (fraud dept) and they confirmed it was a legit number for their bank!  Not sure why people are saying they are a scam!  I'm not past due, but someone using my contact number is past due and Citi Bank is after them!  

This is a scam. They call and hang up when asked who's calling.

Caller keeps calling my cell phone asking for Edwin Rubbles.  I've asked them to remove my number because I've had this number for four years and there is no Edwin Rubbles at this number.  It's frustrating.  I think it's a scam artist trying to get something for nothing.

This is from Citicorp Colelctions, can be for a Shell gas card, or Best Buy Rewards Zone Mastercard.

Got a call from this number this am. Caller ID readCITI. I didn't answer and they did not leave a message. Thanks to these scammers I no longer answer my phone unless I know who is calling. Thank heaven for caller ID. Wish there was a way to stop these annoying phone calls.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cellphone that I have no idea they are. I've spoken to someone at this number and told them to remove my cell number from their records sinceI have no knowledge of who they are, but I still get calls. It is really getting annoying and I don't feel that I have to change my number since they have been informed that I have no business with them. What can be done to stop these annoying calls?

The caller said he was representing CITI on my late payment to home depot. He said he could fix the problem for me since he already had all my information. All I need to do is verify some information.I responded that I had already mailed my payment. he repeated my statement and said thank you,then hung up.I am planning to ask Home Depot to look into this matter.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number. No message is ever left.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, so I am not sure what this can be.

I don't understand why everyone says this is a fraud.  We don't normally answer calls from numbers we don't know but since they kept calling and calling my husband finally picked up.  It was Citi Bank calling about my over due credit card.  I went online and sure enough my account was past due, and in the amount they stated on the phone to my husband.  It probably wasn't legal for them to give my husband information on my account... but still, it was a legitimate call.  

Sometimes the caller ID just doesn't show up the caller information correctly.

It is not fraud.  It is Citicard Client Retention.  You have an account past due.  Stop being such a conspiracy theorist.

I keep getting calls from this number, when I do answer it is an automated response saying to wait for the next available representative.

Got a phone call in fact a few of them... called ID says CITI.. they leave no message when answer machine picks up.. I called back the phone number they wanted my phone number and account number.  I do not have credit cards.. They
said they handle many accounts, well I have no accounts with credit cards.  It is not Citi Bank or anything like that it is
a scam I believe they want info.  Stop calling you will not get anything from me.

Got 2 calls in a day didn't answer.
