Oct. 30, 2017    This phone number, 816-420-4632 calls me, says they are "Citi-Client" and I have never had any account with anything to do with "Citi" including Citi-Bank (if that is who these people are?) They called again today and left a voice message with another call back number of  1-866-680-8628.  When I called it back I was asked to enter my account number. I can't enter any account number, I don't have one to enter. In past calls a real person said I was past due with a payment and they asked for my account number and then the last 4 digits of my SS number. I gave them NOTHING. So, they are calling from  816-420-4632  and asking people to call back to  866-680-8628.  I owe no one anything past due, never have. I also don't have any accounts with any "Citi" anything. Scammers?

Scam caller tries to get your citibank account number or credit card number. Usually hangs up.

Here is the mystery solved. City tries to dodge the questions about this caller since they were once affiliated with the company which stills claims to have contract with them. City will give you two different answers. One says they are genuine and one says they are not genuine. They are also reported to have contracts with Home depot. They are a collection agency that has been discredited for dubious activity.  They use any years old info they bought from many years ago thats  outdated or just false trying to make a dollar. The company now consists of just one male person and perhaps a female accomplice that has been reported by people of getting whacked for a hundred dollar scamm charge on their cards. The last City employee I talked with states that they will investigate the info I gave them and said give this person NO INFO AT ALL. It would appear thet this caller is no longer working for City or Home depot, but rather themselves. The number is a real number and the person is very convincing. It just dont check out at all. All my accounts checked just fine and stated they never called me at all. This scammer is a real Pro!

Citi and calls frequently.  Probably collection to wrong number.

You seriously need to learn to spell.  It is "Citi" not city.  There is no "CityBank" just Citibank.
