What is this [***] i havent even herd of it am a pay n go customer of o2 how have this comapny got my number i have no credit on my phone i topup £10 every month and o2 take it for my simplicity plan, have i anything to worry about ???

I got a £3 charge for receiving a text! contacted orange and the gave me the name of the company and an email address and phone number. The company is 2ergo. I am awaiting their response but was advised by orange to text STOP to 83023. Apparently this activity is not illegal!! It's pure theft

I recieved the text message from 83023 saying "Prise Time, this week? question now available at http://prizetime.m2ergo.com/quickPage.html?page=37189 Epanding Vision Ltd £3.00 per week! Care? 08445796369"

Here is the thing. The mobile that recieved the message is a dedicated mobile for internet access... so how the hell did they get my number?... I've phoned Orange my provider and asked why and how I have recieved this text! Orange customer services Phone the number they had available for this company to ask the questions, but got an answering service. Orange said they'll phone me tomorrow with some answers..

In my view this is theft.. going from the length of this thread alone, starting in 2008 its about time someone did something about it. other wise this company may fine someone like me on their door step ready to kick seven kinds of crap out of each employee.

ok they claim I have clicked a link sent in a SMS to acept their terms & conditions for them to charge me (which I havn't) its a dedicated phone for internet ... he wouldnt tell me where they got my number from "because they are breaking data protection act." he said he would remove my number from the list, and send me the money they took from me.


This company is unbeleavable and dishonist " if you recieve one of these texts phone your network provider and complain "

I keep getting these I am on T-Mobile, no idea how long I have had them or if I have been charged (we are on a low income so can't afford this)
I showed my son them and he asked what I'd subscribed to - I said nothing, so I was told to delete them.
How do they get the numbers to send these in the first place.
The company name on the one I noted down before I deleted it was expanding vision and gave a phone number of 08445796369 (the 7 could of been a 1)
I am going to try the send stop to the 83023 number.

hi i have be told by t moble that u have to give me a refused,of 14 50..as i dont know nothing bout the ringtones ,as i have not agreed to any of these numbers so u have been blocked from my number,,so i want my 14 50 thats been added on my t mobile

ive been receiven these messages aswell and a dont no who they are and what they want

just had text from above, straight onto t-mobile, and asked for them to bar this number from my phone. they are sorting it.

Get snotty with BT/O2, mention the proceeds of crime act. BT will undoubtedly make money out of the charges that you pay therefor they are on a stcky wicket as far as the proceeds of crime act goes. If they do nothing tell them to stuff their contract. Get your phone unlocked and go PAYG.

I was text from 83023 on 14th December and charged £3. I have no idea who it is from

so how to we get our money back  i've been charged twice
