First of all I did not sign up for these messages to be sent to me which is a con, it took £9 worth in credits & on top of that charged me another 10p to text "stop" for the messages. What a joke!!!!!!!!! I want my money back that was lost in credits!

I've phoned a complaint in to phonepayplus. Also wrote demanding refund and had a reply so far saying they're looking into it.

Sounds to me that you all have been a bit naughty on the net and text 83023 in the hope to chatting to a girl from a chat room.

People think about what you do on the net

I have received 3 text messages from 83023 and each time, they have taken £4.00 from my credit! The texts say something about TV Quiz Member (of which i am not aware) and a link to win prizes. I did not subscribe to these texts, have no idea where they have got my number from and would like it to stop. I have emailed 02 to see if they can block the number somehow, heres hoping!

I have been receiving messages from this number since November, 7 in total coming to £21. Hadnt realised because it was a new phone/contract and was told my bill would be higher for first month. Only checked because the next bill i got was still higher. I phoned orange to ask if they could do anything as there was no info on the text about stopping the messages and didnt want to go on the web page incase it cost me even more. Orange said they will credit me the money back in my next bill and gave me a number to phone (08445796370). I phoned it but it was automated. I have been getting these messages every Sunday morning since end of November so fingers crossed it works and they'll stop sending them. If not i was told to text STOP to the number.
