okay i have not had the problem since i am not from the UK but i have figured out the problem most of you have either had sms this number or had somebody
use the code on your phone recently if none of these events occured then most likly they have a hacking bot that randomly goes through numbers;and then texting this ID,thus activating this pest of a text stealing money and not only that but also broken a federal law.how is this happening most likly a buisness using a satillite or a group (or one) of people creating this bot or hack or virus ect.ect. stealing your money what action should you use...obviously get a new sim card and deactivate the old one this should stop the "pest text" as it has been giving that name,and/or contact the police report this problem and if they are smart they will ask for your cell phone and trace where this "pest text" is coming from and the people/person behind this arrest them;and if you want my suggestion sue there #@! as fast as you can.
P.S. i will not be answering any post/phone calls/or any other form of comunicating unless i know you well enough.
also this text is coming from a runescape sms number ect.ect. mostly targeting kids who don't bother to just take the one of the actual website.

To stop receiving these unwanted texts and credit theft from 83023 text STOPALL back to them. It does work but must be all one word, all capitals.

they text me out of no where now my phonehas been to off me who are them dicks

every time I top up it sense me a text which costs £3.00 I have sent text to the number stopping it but it still gets sent to me. how can i stop it

My sister who has recently had a stroke and her memory is affected keeps getting these quiz things. they charge £3 everytime.She thought it must be her that started it but with no memory to speak of it must be the bloody caller.How do you stop this? I have sent stop by text to it on her phone but still it comes.I text from my phone to complain and stop it but to no avail as yet. The stop text always comes up as pending.

My son is receiving these texts too. I have discovered that the company generating them is 2 Ergo Limited,2 Ergo Ltd,4th Floor, Digital World Centre,1 Lowry Plaza, The Quays, Salford, M50 3UB, 0844 579 6370. If you email them at customer.services@2ergo.com they should remove you from their database. They are very helpful. Note they are only the technology company generating the texts not the company responsible getting the revenue. Zergo reported that the company getting the money for the texts is Gizaclue. They can be reached on telephone number 0844 579 6360. I hope this helps.

my mate asked me to text "HD" to 83023 because hes on orange and because im on contract he'll gets free texts, and i cant find it on orange but i have been told about this before. Same. Had txt messgae xmas eve to say I had a premium rate txt imcoming and I needed to top up credit. (I had less than £1 on the phone and figured it could be christmas message from a friend?)
Anyway yeah was charged @ £2:50.

Im on vodafone and didnt sign up to anything :<
Have texted STOPALL and STOP as I figure they'll carry on regardless since my number is now on their mailing list somehow. (Texts I sent cost the regular 12p and I havent had any texts back yet and that was 10 mins ago).

If they spam me again I'll post again. Otherwise take it that the texts worked.
