I AM THE MANAGER OF A SMALL GLASS COMPANY IN SOUTH FLORIDA. WE ARE A SUB CONTRACTOR. I RECIEVED A CALL FROM A MAN TELLING ME HIS NAME WAS STEVE SHAW AND HE WORKED FOR GOLDMAN WALKER & KLEIN. HE THEN TOLD ME HE COULD COLLECT OUR UNPAID CONTRACTS AT A 20% FEE. I SAID OK, AND SENT HIM A COUPLE OF OUR CONTRACTS. THE FIRST WE COLLECTED ON OUR OWN FROM A GC THAT GIVES US MOST OF OUR WORK. STEVE WAS TOLD NOT TO BE RUDE WITH THE GC AND TO GO AFTER THE OWNER OF THE STORE. HE THEN WENT TO OUR GC AND NOT ONLY HARRASED THEM BUT WENT AS FAR AS THREATEN THEM. THANK GOD THEY DID NOT TAKE WORK AWAY FROM US.OUR COMPANY AGREED WITH THE GC TO ACCEPT $10,000.00 . THE GC GAVE THE CHECK TO US. I FELT I HAD TO GIVE GOLDMAN THERE 20% EVEN THOUGH WE DID THE WORK, SO I  HAD THE CHECK ALL READY TO MAIL OUT WHEN A WOMEN CALLED AND ASKED ABOUT PAYMENT. I TOLD HER THE CHECK WAS READY TO BE SENT. SHE ASKED FOR A COPY OF THE CHECK SO LIKE A JERK I OPENED THE ENVELOPE AND SENT HER A COPY TELLING HER NOT TO ELECTRONICLEY DEPOSIT IT. SHE DID. THEY THEN COLLECTED ANOTHER $5,OOO.OO AND WE HAVE NOT GOTTEN ONE PENNY FOR IT. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THERE PHONES OR EVER CALL BACK. THIS IS NOW 3 MONTHS LATTER. TODAY I GOT SOMEONE ON THE PHONE WHO GAVE ME A BUNCH OF CRAP ABOUT HOW THEY ARE RESTRUCTERING THE COMPANY. THEY ARE ALSO HIRING NEW PEOPLE.  DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!!! THEY ARE THIEVES. THIS IS THE 3RD COMPANY THE OWNER HAS OPENED UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES AND HAS STOLEN HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. MY NEXT STEP IS TO CONTACT THE DA OR STATE ATTORNEY. AT TIMES THE WAT THEY ARE WE NEED ALL THE MONEY WE CAN GET TO PAY OUR BILLS.

This Steve shaw called and said they were attorneys. WE have alein against gc. Steve called and said he contacted the course, what i didnt know was amgt co was running the course which was a huge coustomer like 400,000. "Steve Guignard is a thief. Robert works for him. Steve Guignard also owned Atkins, Harris & Brown. They stole over $1 million dollars of clients money. Check attorney Dave Kuntz in Richmond, Tx. He went after Steve. Steve also goes by Steve Harris. He's a coke head and a pill (vicodin) addict. His wife runs a IT dept for a law firm in down town houston. He has a bad habit of collecting for clients and not remitting. Ch. 2 news even caught up with him. Robert is just an idiot collector! I made a mistake and worked for Steve not only at Atkins Harris and Brown, but also at MMS. I left because my paycheck bounced and that is when I found out he was not remitting to clients. Sad considering Barbara (she wears the pants) (a goalith woman 5'11 and about 220lbs) makes about $150k a year."

The above is very accurate and true.  I also know from the inside.  Not sure who you are,....but I'll bet we know each other from the past.

Yup.  They are crooks alright.  They collected $6,750 of our money from one of our G.C.'s - we never saw a penny.  We just get the runaround when we contact them.  I would be happy to provide information to anyone who has found a way to prosecute them.  I hope they all go to jail!

Terry, I just called goldman today and got an answering machine. I did talk to a Mr. Richard Carr who said is restructering the company. I tries calling you but the number was disconnected. Just to let you know they are taking applications for collection agents there is a recording. IT JUST MAKES ME SICK

JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE HOUSTON,  TX DA'S OFFICE. I WAS TOLD THAT THE ONLY COMPANY BEING INVESTEGATED WAS THE MORGANTHAL, MYERS & STERNS COMPANY. I TOLD THEM THEY ARE NOW DOING BUSINESS UNDER GOLDMAN, WALKER & KLEIN. I WAS TOLD AN ASSISANT DA WOULD BE CALLING ME BACK WHEN HE GETS IN AT 2:00PM TODAY. I am attorney that did work for them and they never reimbursed me for my costs.  They are debt collectors.  They are not registered as a debt collector with the State of Florida.  I have contacted the Office of Financial Affairs in Florida.  This is a violation of Florida's Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  If they've told anyone they are attorneys, please call your Secretary of State or Attorney General.  They are violating the Federal and state Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  If you are in Florida and have been a victim of their scam, please respond to this with some basic contact information.  I'm looking at filing suit.  

Also, I have a friend in the Economic Crimes division of the Attorney General's office.  They are looking into this and they believe this could be consume fraud.  Steve Shaw may be looking at jail time in old Florida.  Perhaps a call to the law firm where his wife works will get his attention.  Lawyers don't like to hear about other lawyers being scammed.

I would like to know if they have closed their office as I have a file placed with them by a former CM in January 2010.  I know my debt is collectible and want to discharge them from the file.  How do I do that if I can not get in touch with them?

I would consult an attorney in your area.  Personally, I would send them a certified letter, return receipt requested, terminating their "services".  I would also send a letter to the company you are trying to collect from (certified as well) letting them know that you are no longer engaging Goldman, Walker & Klein.  

Look for an attorney in your area that will take your case on a contingency fee basis or for a flat fee.  Attorneys are obligated to follow certain ethical rules (these scam artists have no ethics!) with regard to your money.
