Thank you for posting everyone. I just got a call from someone at GWK Services and he saw a lien we filed and said he was an investigator for a fire insurance something or other (lots of muttering) and wanted to ask some questions. I told him the call was out of the blue, I did not know him and would pass his information on to our attorney. He gave me the number 832-665-2100. Never give out information to a stranger no matter how official they sound.

i had an outstanding ballance from a costumer on which i filed a lien in the state of new jersey, one day david stein from goldman walker & klien calles me to help in the debt collection which i accepted, the costumer sent the check directly to them but they never forwarded it to me, i called and sent email for 3 weeks now and response, can you offer advice?

Best advice is to ignore them,...or better yet,.....direct them to your attorney.  They simply look for an easy target to rough-up and squeezemoney out of- but in person they are illegal-substance addled punks.

Also I do not know who this Rebecca Harvey is that you talked into acting as your agent to incorporate in Texas. I hope she knows what she is getting into. Also the Attorney General for the State of Texas says your are not liscensed as a collector and have never posted a surety bond as required by their law. Keep looking over your shoulder, the law is not far behind.

I kept getting calls from Lee Macy, who claimed he represented Goldman, Walker, & Klein, Houston Texas. When I confronted him with the fraud/scam material I had collected online, the calls asking for money to pay off a lien placed by Edward Borchers (Imperio Of The Marble, FL), another scammer, stopped.

Has anyone else been called by Lee Macy? This has got to stop!

Forgot to add: Mr Lee Macy's (cell) phone number is 832-665-2122...I just called to verify his name!

I too own a company and have been receiving harrassing and threating phone calls from a Mr. Lee Macey claiming to be an attorney with Goldman, Walker & Klein.
We plan to file harrasment charges and a grievence with the Bar.
I strongly urge anyone else being harrassed by these clowns to do the same.
When confronted with facts this moron resorts to foul language and threats.

I am the Accounting Supervisor for FECC, Inc. we submitted several of our accounts with GWK Services for collections and have signed a contract stating we wont contact the customers directly and we can not take the accounts to anyone else. David Stien with GWK was contacting me with status updates the first 2 months but will not return calls or emails now... we dont know if they have collected anything or not...what should we do. These accounts are worth 10s of thousands and need to be collected or released.

They are not licensed as a debt collector in the State of Texas or anywhere else. The stole money from us an I am going to get them.

They are not attorneys. Ask them for their State License Number and Bonding company. They do not have one. Call your State Attorney generals office and file a complaint. Do not be afraid of these guys. They are scum.

They are crooks. They used to be Morgethal and Staerns.

The best thing to do is check and see if the people that owed you money paid Goldman Walker and Klien. If you do owe money to someone deal directly with them. Goldman Walker and Klien are scum bags. They are like a cancer. They go by different names. And J.D. Bailey, Steve (What ever your  name is now), Robert Galloway, I am comming to get you legally. I am going to be your worst nightmare.

As a former employee I need as much information as I can on these guys. Espically the conection with both companies. I am building a case against them and I have the money to do it. Also accurate information on Steve Guignard as to aka Stevve Harris or Steve Shaw. Is it true he has used thes alisis. I need evidence.  And Robert Galloways relationship in this whole thing. Also who is J. D. Bailey.

I was contacted by Robert Gallaway saying he was the legal assistent to Attorney Robert Shaw and tried to shake me down for sham lien and threaten forclosure on one of my properties.Having read all of your comments I did not even return the call!These guys are taking advantage of poor contractors that need to collect this money to feed their famlies!

Robert Galloway is Robert Fucile.  He's been with Steve Guignard since the Atkins days.  Once that company was run into the ground, Steve started up MMS (Morgenthal Meyers and Stern).  Once MMS filed for bankruptcy Steve kept on operating as GWK Firm, or GWK services (Goldman, Walker and Klein).  Steve still runs the show, but Rebecca Harvey (Rebecca Barber, Becky Barber Harvey) is now the registered agent and listed as the owner.  I don't know what name or phone # they currently use.  Anyone have any updates?

Its great eveyone is sharing information.  I have contacted 60 Minutes. I need more information on this J.D. Bailey idiot. I am working with the Harris County sheriffs office. It sounds like these guys use multiple aka names. Google Goldman Walker & Kilen and post as many negative reviews as you can on any web sites their name comes up on. Don't make up stuff, tell the truth. I have contacted the landlord they rent space from and told them what is going on.

Keep the pressure on. What ever State you are in contact the office that regulates debt collection agencies and file a complaint. If they have collected money on your behalf and did not pay you file a criminal complaint with your local law enforcement agency. The more the better. Keep copies of all correspondence or e-mails they send you.
