Just ignored a call from them, glad I did, thanks everyone.

I keeping getting phone calls from them about a debt that is not mine.They have my name but not  an address I've ever lived at. Then they wanted the last 4 digits of my ss# I told them I don't give out that info but they can tell me what they have and it was not my ss#. I ran a free credit check just to confirm that I don't have this debt on my record and I don't.But they still keep calling me on it.I always pay my bills on time and I find this very upsetting.

These people called my home on 2/22/2010 at 10:50 a.m. central time until 12:02 p.m contineously in 2-minute intervals.  I do not pick up because I owe no one.  This is clearly harrasement.  I will notify AT&T and Texas representatives.  I also called Redline to notify them of this harrasement by their telemarkers.   I looked up the number on Google and it belong to Redline Recovery.

I got a call from them about 3 hours ago ~ theve switched numbers again.  Like many of you they are trying to collect a charge off account that is not even on my credit report any longer.  SCUM BAGS!!  tHEY call all the time morning noon nights weekends.  sheesh

no they never ever leave a message.  I got a letter offering 3 ways to pay or law suit ~ this is not even on my credit report any longer.

I just got a call from these people and have also had a problem with a letter being sent to me about a bill that is well over 10 years old.  I sure wish that they could stop these people from scamming others  like they have some especially the older people.  I keep a spreadsheet on my computer of all calls like these that have came in and I sure will be glad to send these numbers to a congressman or senator or who ever will stop them from calling.  if they go to a class action lawsuit then I would love to see these people put out of business.

Received three different calls from Protfolio Recovery today! They must be going broke from what everyone says on here. Probably they can't collect from anyone now because times are hard and everyone knows about the scam they are trying to pull.
The numbers show on my caller id are: 731-815-8010, 620-662-8878 and 847-678-9710. If they call you do not answer or tell them anything if you do answer. If you answer they will swear that you agreed to pay them so they can try to sue to get money from you.

This is a collection agency looking for someone I've never heard of.

I've blocked the number myself since these type of places can't be depended on to remove your number from their calling lists.

Recently changed my cell number, and now get calls from this and similar numbers asking for who I assume had the number before me. Have told them I don't know this person they are looking for but they continue to call several times a week

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number asking for another person.  This has happened before and I guess will continue until we somehow can get new laws about collection agencies.  I have my home # and cell # on the National Do Not Call list and yet I still get this kind of junk.  If anyone can figure out how to change the laws, please get it started.

These [***] keep calling me over and over again. Back in June they had a Virginia number that I thought was my friend so I answered it. I screwed up when they asked for me by name and I said 'this is him, who is this?'.
Now they have a new number and can go fornicate themselves. I am sure there is a way on the iPhone to block their calls. They wanted to collect a debt from sears from 11 years ago. It got charged off in late 99. I owed sears $120, they wanted to collect $800. I literally laughed at the guy and told him he can go blow his father, then hopefully hang himself. He chuckled and said something back and I called him a very racist word against black people, then hung up.

If someone starts a class action law suit against them, post it I am sure there are many of us who will join, they call me regarding a bill my son got from a college he never went to, I got it cleared up and they now have my number and address, LOVELY. I have no debt with them that I know of but I think they still have his..........LOSERS!!!
