Actually, yes it is CitiBank.... I missed a payment a few days ago and its the second time I've gotten the call. Happened another time when the payment I did online got returned. :/ At the moment that you pay your minimum payment, the calls stop.

Yep, Citi calling to remind me I didn't make a full minimum payment last month.

I told them the same thing I told the agent I spoke with two weeks ago when they called...

I'm currently UNEMPLOYED and they will get their money as soon as I start making some.

Sorry Citi, not everyone can get a bail out from the government.

Bull!! I do NOT have an account with them, therefore no late or missed payments, or over the limit. Every morning at the same time they call. Sometimes it's this number (caller ID merely says 'Kentucky'), sometimes it's 816-420-4002 with caller ID saying 'Citicorp Credit'. To repeat - I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH CITI OR ANYTHING UNDER THEIR "UMBRELLA"!! (Nor can I find either of the numbers on their web site).

I became a victim of ID theft recently.  I receive about three calls per day from this number at home.  Last time, the person who spoke said he is calling from Citi Bank.  The style of his speech convinced me right away he could be a thief.  

Now I get calls from this number at my work; also three times per day.  I belive these are professionals.

It has to be Citibank, they were able to tell me how much my last payment was and the last time I had contacted customer service.  I then called customer service again and asked the rep to verify that collections for citibank originates from this KY area code.  

That was my experience, take it as you will.

Have received several phone calls from 859-283-8071 and they do the same as everyone has said. Don't talk or leave a message. Very irritating! Call blocked them so I hope this stops them.

I got at least three calls from this number today and it is very annoying.  It seems they want to confirm indentity and then hang up, very rude.

Stop calling please. I checked my credit report and its perfect with no late payments. I called Citibank and they said I do not have an account with them and I should ignore those calls

SCAM ALERT!

They called 3 days in a row asking for someone I don't know.
Told them they had the wrong number and the person said they would remove my number
on the first call.

Today I missed the call and called them back. First you get a recording about
reaching citicard and at&t, then the recording asks for your Acct# or Social Security number.
All before you even know who they really are.

The rep didn't recognize the number and was unable to get an answer when she called them.

have gotten 2 calls from this number today and each time I answer there's noone there...I say 'hello' three times and then I hang up. When I called back, recorded message asked me for my Citibank Account number. I do have a Citibank account but only deal with people at their officially posted phone number or web site.

You called me twice again today..I posted yesterday. This is harassment.

I called them back, and asked for bob smith.  They said there is no bob smith.  I insist there is a bob smith and ask for their supervisor . . . Then I hang up.  If they call me, then I am going to call them and waste their time

Another call... this is really annoying

I got numerous calls from this number and decided to answer it one day.  I kept ignoring it due to the unknown area code.  Some guy from oversea's with a strong accent said my payment was never received.  He wanted me to pay my overdue bill over the phone.  My bill was clearly paid according to my online account.  He said it's a mistake and they didn't receive it.  Just to see if this was a scam, I told him I'll do it online due to security reasons.  He said to trust him and give him my personal info.  He also said that if I didn't pay over the phone RIGHT NOW, he wouldn't be able to waive my late fee or finance charge and that this was my last chance to pay!  I asked him for his name and company ID# but he couldn't answer that question and asked to verify my address.  I gave him a fake address and he said that was correct.  That's when I knew he was a scam.  Very pushy and eager to get my personal info.  DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFO FOR ANY REASON!  This isn't Citi bank!!

They keep calling me, but no one is there or ever answers...no one leaves  message.  Crazy.  Beware

The same as everyone else on here, i get calls at least 20 times a day, i answer he hangs up, so when he calls i answer and stay quiet, he asked for some random name, i said stop calling i told you before there is no one here by that name, I get a call again and now they want my credit card number, yea right everyone knows not no credit card company calls to ask for your credit card..For me having a brother who is a Sheriff i know scams. I have reported alot of calls & scam checks that come to my house and they want you to cash it and send money to them in another country well i report everything to Better Buisness Burreau, So thats what i did here.I also did a reberse phone lookup and here is what i found. When i did reverse phone lookup it say's the phone is a landline and the phone company is (CINCINNATI BELL, INC)

Let me tell you something, this is absolutely 100% a SCAM.  These people have called me non-stop for a few weeks, several times a day.  They say they are Citibank, but no credit card company behaves this way.  Think about it, what do they care if you're late on a payment?  THAT'S HOW THEY MAKE MONEY, by charging you late fees.  They aren't going to call you to remind you to pay your bill or if you have a possible late fee, they'll just bill you.  Believe me, anyone who comes in here and says this is Citibank probably works for the con artists.  

I have reported them to the FTC, whatever good that will do.  Do not give these people any of your information.  They are liars and crooks out to make a buck off of people who are already down on their luck.  These are some of the lowest scum on the earth and they should be exterminated like the rats that they are.

She calls several times a day,,, Register your phone at www.donotcall.com (Federal trade commission) and after 31 days report the call by clicking on the file a complaint link and report your concerns to the feds.

This call appears to get generated out of Kentucky but is reported carrier of Cincinatti Bell both Cinn Bell and your local company have annoyance call bureau's call them and report this call also call cinn bell their link is on the internet.

Intellisus reports the line belongs to Joslyn Tarr  residing at [removed]. You might ask her to verify this information when she calls next time. When she called me she said her name was martha ??...
