I don't know who the number is and don't care of starting getting rude. They call me and are not ready to talk. I have time to say hello 3 times. and pause. then finally someone comes on the line. I have started responsed you called me know your information and be ready to talk when you dial the phone then hang up.

This number has called twice, left an automated voice mail that was garbled when identifying what card they were calling about.  And I do NOT have a balance on ANY card with CitiGroup... I agree that this feels like a phishing scheme or some similar scam.

We got a call yesterday from this number but we were not at home. A message was left but all the woman said was "Hello?"
Today got a call from the same number and again we were not available to answer the phone. The call went to message machine and it sounded like a child playing with the phone.

I called this number back, it stated pre recorded message that its "Citi" and for me to enter my account number. I did not. I called Citibank fraud department and reported it. They said they don't have a phone number by that number. So only call an official Citi number that you know to be real and never talk to anyone from this number or give any personal info. How stupid do these fakes think people are!!!

I just called them back as well..They asked for acct number and my name. I gave them neither then she got a big attitude and said she could not discuss anything with me. (I did give the number they have been calling and told her to please stop calling and that she should already have  my name, etc from the number they've been calling). She was rude and I hung up. It did say  when I called that it was a Citi company

RELENTLESS calls from this number, no voice mail left!

not  sure  who  this  is    they  call  my  work  phone  all day  long  and  when  i  call the  number  back   no  answer  or  they  want  my  credit  card  number..   the  thing  is  I  paid  off  all my  credit  cards  off  and i  only  have  1  with a  $0  balance .. I  wish  they  would  just  stop  calling

They've called me 4days in a roll non stop... I havent answered  yet & looking at all these posts im glad i haven't .

What do i need to do to insure that they quit calling????????

Has called me 8 times since yesterday.  I don't have a shell account... Not sure what is up with this.

Caller is Citi Bank trying to collect on a Shell card

waht is going to take to stop this number from calling day and night about a account that is good standing with a  fuel card co.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer I get a recording. I never get a person to talk to. What gives?

This number has called our line non-stop for along time. Sundays, morning, noon and night. I tried blocking the number but it doesn't work.

Receiving repeated daily calls from this number regarding a Shell account.  Wanted me to pay over the phone, which I refused, thankfully.  I do have a Shell balance, but nothing major, and they have no reason to call. I made a payment via the normal address of Shell by mail.  I don't answer the calls now and read with interest the other complaints on this site about it.  The woman said she was from Citibank.  I wonder if it's an employee who has taken info from these accounts, gotten a phone, and then using the info to get money from unsuspecting and more trusting people.

I have verizon cell and I just block the number for 90 days and that usually stops them from calling. Although they seem to use 2 or 3 different numbers... verizon lets you block 5 numbers for 90 days at a time free.  If you are using a land line the phone companies usually have a service for about 2 bucks that lets you block individual numbers.

Good luck all.  putting your numbers on the do not call list do not work very well.  especially some of these companies that have multipul numbers.

know these people are just trying to do their jobs but....when you tell them once that your checking account is already in the hole....where do they get off saying "well, could you make a payment of $__ by ____?".  I guess you can't fix stupid though when it comes to things like this.

It appears CitiBank has gone collection-agency mode since their name is mentioned all through some of the posts on here.  All I can say is thank God for caller ID because these clowns are relentless.  I did talk to one and they asked for my cell # - absolutely NO WAY!

They just attempted to call me, "Kentucky 859-283-8074", for what seems like the 10th time this week. I did not answer, this time, in the past they tell me to hold for a company representative. Of course, I hang up, however, I am getting tired of the disturbance!!

i got a phone call frrom this number and was told i was behind and over my account balance ! then tried to get some personal info from me ,so i ask if this was a scam , then they hung up on me !
