I called citicard at their real number. They say this is not them.

I finally added this number to my Blocked List. Total scammers.

They call three times a day looking for someone who doesn't even live here.  Then they hang up on you when you tell them that, but they keep calling every day!

It is not faud its Childrens place card

This is not a fraud call its Childrens Place from Citibank! Pay your bill.

They just keep calling an not saying anything. This most recent time, I waited on the phone for about thirty seconds. Heard someone say "Hello?" just as I was pressing 'end'. But it's good to know that they aren't any entity I have to take seriously since so many other people are being pestered. Thanks for the posts, everyone!

I just got a call from this number too.  I did not answer they did not leave a message.  My account is up to date.  Citibank just got hacked so I would not give any information to anyone calling from any number that I did not find directly to citibank.

Receive calls daily, multiple times a day for more then 10 days.  They never leave a voicemail and if the caller doesn't hang up on time and it goes to voice mail then it's just silence.  After 10 days of calling I finally picked up the call and no one is there.  I waited several minutes and no one comes to the line.  I have picked up the call on three different occassions and no one is ever there.

This is Citi Cards for Shell. I had my account on auto pay, set it up a year ago when I got behind in my payments. Apparently they can only set up 12 months at a time and May was my last scheduled payment but I still had a small balance left on it. I told them I didn't know the payments ended last month and no one contacted me to set the remainder payments. He was very nice, saw that I'd been paying and removed the late payment, apologized for Citi not contacting me sooner and set up the last couple of payments. All in all a pleasant conversation with Citi...to my surprise!

When I answered the call, there was no one on the other end either! Just dead air... They called yesterday too but didn't leave a message...I ended up calling back after looking up the phone number and found this site...they looked up my phone number and said it was in regards to my Shell account...

I called the number- it is citicard- they were able to verify my acct by my phone number with a particular vendor- I had forgot to send payment in on- they are legit- its not a phising scam. If they can't tell you by your home phone # don't trust the caller- with my home phone # alone he was able to provide the last 4 digits of my acct #- and did not ask me for any other info.

we receive 2-4 calls a day from this number. I usually just answer and immediately hang up, don't wait for them to answer....BUT WHO IS IT AND WHAT DO THEY WANT. I tried to talk to someone once, and they hung up on me....go figure

Why is it in this day and age that a simple phone number cannot be reported to the proper authorities? I have received 5 back-to back calls from this number today and yesterday. I get at least three calls from this number on a daily basis. THIS IS HARRASSMENT and it needs to stop. If I answer no one is on the line, and they never leave a message. Why is it such a mystery? Can't this call be traced?

These calls are endless. I finally answered one. They claim they're from "Citi Card Group" (never heard of that) asking about a specific represented account. They asked for account information starting with my address. I hung up immediately. DO NOT TALK TO THESE GUYS!!!

What can be done about these guys??? Do I call local police or what?

Get a minimum of two calls a day from this number for the past couple months.  If I answer there is usually nobody on the line, once I did get a person and they asked for some random person.  Told them they had the wrong number and to please take me off their list.  That was a month ago.  I just submitted their number to the national do not call registry as well.

Take my # off of your list, we do not have a shell card and never will---Do not call again or I will report you to the Federal Government!!!!

We are getting a lot of calls from this number which the caller ID says it citicard and we do not do any business with them and no one says anything when we answer.  Phone harassment.  And yes we are on the do not call list.  Calls come even on Sunday and after 8:00PM

I am getting these calls too.  Was getting calls from another number 305-503-3900 only this time someone did try to talk to me. I tried to tell her I was on the do not call list and called the police nothing worked until one day I picked up a sports whistle and would blow it everytime they called the woman asked me what are you doing, I told her I was trying to deafen her. I got one more call from that number and I wasn't home that time. Knock on wood no more calls from that number now.
