this number is calling me ,,, and hanging up

I get the same thing.. several calls at night from CitiCard. They do not leave a message. When I do answer, there is no one there just some computer clicking then goes dead. I get the calls at work now too.

I keep getting calls from this number but no one answers on the other end. It goes to disconnected. I receive these calls on my cell phone and my home phone.

My bills are all paid and current with the exception of some probate issues
following the passing of my darling wife from cancer. These folks 8592838074
seem to always call around this time of the month and it rudely starts at 6:30
am and they will call 10-15 times a day, They leave NO message. Calls con-
tinue till 8 or 9 pm. I refuse to answer and if they ask YOU for your account
number, do not give it!!! If they are legit, they are already looking at it on their
end. NEVER give a password to them. If it is related to Sh*tyBank, it would
not surprise me, my wife and I had a perfect payment history and they still
raised our rate to 29%. We had to 'opt out'. I'm sure our credit rating took a
hit for that crap....

This is a scam, if you talk to them don't give any of your information to them.  If you do have a late payment due, hang up, looking up your credit card's website, and use their contact information to handle the problem.

These people call me all the time, but when I answer I get no response!  I looked up their number and it is a cell phone in Kentucky.  If it was actually Citi group, the number would have come up as a business number.  Plus Citi group would have been calling you using a 800 number.

If I'm late even one day, they call me repeatedly every few minutes every day...it's ridiculous!

Received a call with a visible phone number.  No one spoke.  I do not talk to machines... EVER.

This is a scam do not answer and do not call the number back!

I got several calls from this number and when I answered no one was on the line.

Same issue here. 859-283-8074, answer and disconnect.  I call the number back to reach a Citibank automated answering robot asking for a card number,  Several calls each day.

Called Citibank using toll-free number listed on their website to complain and they claim no one from there has been calling.  Their records show a closed Citicard connected with the called number, but their are no issues and 0 balance.  Citibank supervisors assured me that they are removing my phone number from there system even though they're not calling.  We'll see.

Is the FCC still prosecuting harassing call centers?  That will be my next call to stop this circus.

How do I get these people to stop calling me?  # phone calls in the last few days.  No one there if or when I do answer it.

859-283-8074 this number has called my cell at least 30 times and still counting when I answered there is complete silence so now I have the number programmed to go straight to my voice mail and am still getting 2-3 calls a day!

Don't call me. This is why people are sit hung home phone service.

These people call and my account is current, always trying to sell something else. Leave me alone or I will drop home phone and card service.

They call and hang up at least 8 times a day.  When you answer they hang up.  I called them back they say they are citibank.  I dont have any credit cards other than my bank so it has to be a scam

How to get them to stop- Call the number back. DO NOT put in ANY credit card info. Wait to speak with someone. Tell who ever answers the phone to stop calling. That you know it's a scam and you are going to report them to the police and the FCC. Give them the phone number they are calling ONLY. They will try very very hard to get credit info from you. Just be pleasant but firm that you know it's a scam and you will report them.
I did it finally after a month of calls and they haven't called back since. Good luck everyone!

This is a scam artist making random calls, because no one else has my cell number. They may phish for your credit card or other personal information. Don't answer the phone. If you do, don't tell them anything.
