    I hate these phone calls !
    I just got my home phone a few weeks ago and these mother-effing [***]'s won't stop calling. My number is unlisted, so how the hell did they get my number ? They won't tell me who they are and they are rude as hell. so i decided to search this number and this site came up. I agree with the people who say they must be scammers and criminals. They don't sound legit. Next time they call, I'm telling them to get a real job and stop trying to steal everyone's identification and eff right off.

    iam tired of this number calling my phone !!!! i dont know who it is and i care not to know ... yes i owe money ... but its because of someone robbing me in Ontario 2 years ago ..... they took everything i owned ..... i have not answered nor will i ans theses calls .. iam sick and tired of this .... i have 2 kids to worry about .. i just wish they leave me alone .. if its rogers then i told them to come get the mechine that belongs to them ... they said no and going to charge me 800.00 for it .. well i say u r so willing to drop the michine off to the homes when internet is ordered !! but not so willing to pick it up .... instead u choose to charge me 800.00 ... when i cancelled my internet .... iam sure this is the only place they say i owe money ... so iam guessing its rogers .. who knows . but the number is calling every morning 4 times right in a row and ever after noon and everynight right up to 10 pm ... it needs to stop !!!!!! iam soon going to take legal action aganist this number !!!!!!

    866-294-1752 (toll free service) keeps calling....up to 6 times a day between 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday.  Just in the month of July, they've called me a total of 49 times!!!!  It is so annoying!  We have now invested in a phone that can "block" this number, so we no longer have to put up with this annoying PEST!!!!!  The phone rings once, then it stops!!!!  : )

    Hi, I'm having the same problem as everyone else here. I have a pay-as-you-go account with Rogers but I keep getting phone calls from 866-294-1752. All my bills are automatic payments so I know I don't owe anybody any money. Would you be kind enough as to let me know the make and model of the phone you just got that "blocks" unwanted number?

    Hi! I was just reading your message about the company who calls u 2-3 times or more a day! These people call me up to 9 times a day and I tell them everytime that no matter how many times they call, my financial situation is still the same! Then and hour later, ANOTHER call from a different person and so on. I have told them I will call the police because this is absolutely ridiculious. Every time someone else call from there, its like they have not spoken to me about anything. I have asked them to put it in their computers stating that i will call the police. I don't think they even have computers cause everyone who calls from there, has no idea that I am calling police! They call all day and well into the night so if u know any other info regarding the harrasement from these people, please let me know! Thank you so much!

    These people are calling  me all day starting at 7am to 11:30pm!!!! Yesterday alone, they called me 12 times!!! I am going to pursue with a harrassment charge! Absolutely digusting and extremely unprofessional! It is also an embarressment to ROGERS CABLE who these "wack-jobs" are collecting for!! Disgusted!

    Someone has been harassing me for at least 2 months, on-the-hour, every day. They never leave a message, just keep calling. I have refused to pick up the call or call back as I do not recognize the number. I sent a texted message "QUIT HARASSING ME OR I WILL REPORT YOU! I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING YOU ARE SOLICITING!" The calls are now 3-4 times every day. The only resolution I can think of is to have the number blocked from my cell phone. This number needs to be reported!!

    This caller calling me sometimes 3-times a-day, even after 8pm, I am not answering because shows "spam" on my cell, but I am fed up.

    These guys have been calling every single day starting at about 730 am.. up to 3 times a day.. Funny this is - the number they are calling is ONLY hooked to a fax machine.. you'd think once they get that fax squeal in  their ears a couple times they'd give up. I finally had to google the number because when i called it back i couldn't understand what they were saying..

    Over the last few months I've been getting between 2 and 8 calls a day from this number, never leaving a messge.
    I usually ignore calls from toll-free numbers but they've called so much that I've finally started to answer to find out what's so important.

    Most of the time when I've answered there is no one on the other end or the call gets disconnected.  A few times I get a recorded message, something about being a test message.

    One time I finally got someone on the other end. In an accent she said she was calling from IQOR on behalf of Rogers.  I berated her for call me so many times and told her I wasn't interested in any service from Rogers.  She then asked me for my birthdate.  I told I wasn't giving her any personal info and asked why she requires this information, then the call was disconnected.

    Today I got a message from an unlisted number from a man with an accent from IQOR Canada Ltd. stating that they've left me messages regarding my Rogers account and want me to call back to this number to deal with this matter.

    I'm assuming someone with the same name as mine owes Rogers money and these debt collectors found my name in the phonebook and have been calling hoping I will pay the debt.  It appears they're calling from India or somewhere overseas and have problems with their telecommunications.

    I'm wondering if it's worth lodging a complaint to the CRTC, this is really getting annoying.

    these guys have been calling here for no valid reason as early as 7:15 am waking all in the home up. They are a nuiance to society.  My home number is a new phone number of only a few weeks as we have only moved to this city.  The first time I called the number back and got answered by an angry girl...no company name mentioned just a gruff hello so I hung up without even saying hello back.    Got better things to do than talk to idiots who aren`t professional.  But these jerks have to learn laws are laws and they are not above them.

    I just got a call from these jokers too.  They call, nobody says anything, and they hang up.  I tracked this thread.  Once I read it, and realized who the company is, I did some searching:

    If you ever want to make sure a business is legit just call your consumer protection agency for your province. I googled the keywords:  "Alberta consumer protection" and got this:

    I called the number for my province I was put on the phone with an officer of the department who confirmed that 1-866-294-1752 (IQOR) is a legit operation.

    I then relaxed and wondered how much I owed. I called IQOR back and the person who answered was helpful. They just needed to confirm I was who I said I was which makes sense. They asked for my name, phone number and address which I either confirmed or updated.

    Then I learned that this was about an old Fido account that I still owe $76 bucks on. I'm not going to lie, that sounds exactly correct. I flaked on Fido when I jumped ship to Wind Mobile and "forgot" to pay my bill as I left. I was young, dumb, angry and it's probably not a coincidence I didn't have much luck making money with an attitude like that.

    This all happened this morning. I paid it entirely and haven't received a call since. I expect a letter from them within 10 days that confirms my file is closed and no other credit collection company will be calling me. If they do, I have a letter and if that doesn't work I can always call the consumer protection agency again to update them on the situation.

    So there you go. I just wanted to let you guys know what to do if you suspect a scam. And if you flake on your bills you can expect to get contacted. In a perfect world nobody would be rude when they do, but hey in a perfect world we'd all pay our bills on time. Being polite is nice but contracts are the core issue here.

    Also fyi their reps just people so if you're nice they're nice. The guy I talked to was from Toronto and had an accent that was easy to understand. I think some of them are more irritable than others, and I think the people they are calling are probably at least half to blame. Some of the things they have to put up with would contribute to them feeling irritable and getting defensive. That is probably the worst job on the planet that is still legal. Take care everybody.
