Can't government do something against these guys??? They've been harassing me and they know what they are doing...

Got another call from the collection agency IQOR-CBCL.
They had to make another call before the weekend. What am I talking
about? They'll call on Saturdays & Sundays too! They are mixed up scam
artists working for the main man who lives here and owes more money than
anyone else, with all of his stupid credit cards. Lets say you owe
$50.00 for a parking ticket, and the guy who runs the place owes $50,000
(or more) in credit card debts. Well guess who gets bothered the most?
You guessed it, the guy with the parking ticket! Does this make sense?

Remember, if this is happening to you, don't call them back from your home
or work phone numbers. Even if you dial *67 to block your number it won't
work. IQOR/CBCL will still know your calling from your home/work number. This will confirm to them you are at that number. However, calling from a
payhone (tollfree) and driving them crazy will get them to let up on you
a little bit. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE !!!

IQOR IS REALLY PUSHING IT'S LUCK WITH US !
They called again today at exactly 1:27 PM. Everyone should see
the log file generated by our CID programs over the last 4-5 years.
And the number of times they call us in one day. We will make these
files available for everyone to see online very very soon. And
sooner if they keep calling our home and work numbers regularly.

I got a call from them yesterday.  Went to my auto voicemail, and the recording only stated to call 8662941752.  I called the number and got someone rather quickly.  However, he too was very rude.  I tried to make them identify where they are calling from, and he indicated another company NOT IQOR or CBCL.  But I couldn't make out what he was trying to say.  

I inquired as to why they would be calling my home, and he said he would need my name and phone number.  I refused to provide that until I knew what type of company they were, and what they do.

He finally told me that they were a risk management company.  He continued to be rude and condescending, so I told him that if he was going to take that attitude with me, then they can call me back and leave more details.

To date, I have not received further calls today.  (My call yesterday came at some point after 5:00PM.).

no one on line.
hung up.
called back.
told man call came at 8:15pm.
told man not to call again, and to check the log.
man asks for this #.
i said no.
man hung up on me.

I had another call from IQOR who are ignorant people.
When you answer the phone there is nobody to talk too.
This is a PRANK CALL. You would think that if someone was calling
you there would be someone on the line. At 3:14pm today they called
but no one was on the line. I hung up fast.
THIS IS HARASSMENT TO ITS FULLEST DEGREE!!!

I get calls from these people every day sometimes up to 5 or 6 times a day. They start calling just after 7am...I have 2 young kids and they keep me up half the night and then these a**holes have to call and wake me and the kids up so damn early. I dont owe anybody anything so they have no reason to call me, and most of the time it is just a recording telling me to call them back at whatever number...If you want to talk to someone that bad then have a person on the damn phone not a stupid recording. I told the one guy that I have had enough of their BS and if they keep calling me I am going to track him down and then he will be sorry (didnt help any because they were calling me back an hour later lol)

Today was Saturday 14, Feb. 2009 (Valentines Day).
They just had to call again twice today just to show
how miserable they can be! At 11:23AM and then at 4:35PM, but
calling them back did no good cause they closed early today!

which is a collection agency.
iQor using local Ottawa relay number 613-567-3100.
They can be reached at any of these numbers

They're using this number to see if they can relay you a fax,
or just to see if the phone record are up to date.
Calling 613-567-3100 will only give you a message saying
"this number is not in service"

Wow, iQor only called once today. But did they only call once?
First I had a call from;
Unknown name - Unknown number at 3:09 pm.
Then I had the call from iQor;
Unknown name - 1-866-294-1752 at 5:22 pm.
Dial *57 and this call was put on Bell's Call Trace List!
Then I called them back to thank them for calling!
But now I get another call from;
Unknown name - Unknown number at 6:17 pm.
They are working with the scum bag who runs this
messed up building. Do ya think?

866-294-1752 - really another scam coming at us.    They called and left their message on my mom's machine, she immediately called me and I said leave it with me.  Called the number and was told it was Icore Canada -  a Risk Management company - asked for my number told them I wanted to know wher they were located and was rather rudly told goodbye.
Can you say SCAM ARTIST!!!!!!!!

I TOLD IQOR THAT THESE CALLS WERE BEING PLACED ON A
CALL TRACE LIST (With my phone company),
EVERYTIME THEY CALLED, AND THANKED THEM FOR CALLING!
Then I told IQOR that this was the end of me notifing
them of this. I will continue to Dial *57 everytime
they call but will not make them aware of this anymore!

Yes, I owe money to a company, I am not going to lie.  These people know who I owe money to, but from reading these posts, I don't think I should be giving them anything...  I should just pay the company directly?  Any thoughts?

Everyone will be able to see every number these people have called
from over the last 6 years. We have kept records from CID units and
call trace programs for many years. The calls came first from CBCL
or Canadian Bonded Credits in 2004 (CID said Auto Dialer at that time), then from D and A Collections in 2005, then from CBCL in 2006 and 2007. Then in 2008 CBCL changed names to IQOR but still use the CBCL number; 1-877-503-2115. Now they use both these numbers to harass consumers, alternating the numer they call from day to day, every day. They've been giving us a small break in the calls for the last few days, but it looks as if they will step up the harassment this month.

These people call my house all the time, are rude, have hung up on me multiple times, refuse to give me a manager to speak to, one chick even said "hold on" when i demanded one, then she came back on the line and pretended to be a manager, so i called her on it.. she hung up... most of them don't speak clear english so i can't understand them, when you call them they pick up and don't answer with thier business name, they make rude and obnoxious comments.. they try to get info out of me but i keep telling them that this man they're looking for doesn't live here.. but apparently to them i might be hiding him in my back pocket or something... i am on the DNCL and still they persist... and to top it off, when you call sometimes the line is picked up and you can hear they're conversations with one another and to other people, quite disturbing some of the things they say, and most of the time the callers are LAUGHING!! The most info i got out of them so far is apparently they're located in Toronto...

had 2 calls from IQOR today 8 minutes apart,
and from these 2 different phone numbers;
1st call was from; 1-866-294-1752 Tue 3/10/09 5:21 PM IQOR,
2nd call was from; 1-877-503-2115 Tue 3/10/09 5:29 PM CBCL.
I called and asked why they are doing this and reminded
them of the provincial laws collection agencies should be
following regarding the number of times (3) they are allowed
to call us in a period of 1 week. The guy I was talking to
(Eric) just asked the numbers that called me. I told him
the 2 numbers listed above. He assured me that IQOR is not a
Telemarketer. I told him that; I know this! I told him I knew
who they are (IQOR former CBCL-it makes no difference too me).
I told this Eric that IQOR is not following the rules/laws
governing the frequency of their calls. I also told this Eric
to check the complaints online tonight.

If we consider the way this outfit (IQOR) conducts business;
1. Calling us many times in one day (breach of law),
2. Calling from different numbers in one day (breach of law),
3. Calling more than 3 times in 1 week (breach of law),
4. Calling when they've been told not to (breach of law),
5. Calling and they don't know who they want (breach of law),
6. Calling without any previous written notice (breach of law),
Etc., Etc., Etc., then it must be true, IQOR is a SCAM!!!
IQOR might be a collection agency, but they are behaving like
Telemarketers. That's why we have decided to classify IQOR as a
TeleMarketer Collection Outfit! Because, THAT'S ALL THEY ARE!

I was getting this number coming up occasionally for months during 2008,but ignored it.My DUMB DUMB fiancee answers it one day (after I warned him NOT to) and I find out that it is a collection agency looking 4 me over a billing dispute I had with Rogers wireless 5+ years ago..the "lady" was very ignorant to him,and when i took the phone she was still ranting at him..i cut her off with a go F%$^& yerself, she made me sooo mad...and now they harass me at least 1/2 dozen times a day with 3-4 different numbers...they actually called back using a diff number while writing this!!!My kids can't pick up the phone, and rogers, which totally SUCKED in the first place is of no help!!They won't call off the rabid weredogs either!The only thing to do is change your number,totally unlist it and hope they don't find you until the collection limit has expired...word of advice..NEVER subscribe to Rogers!!!They SUCK ANYWAYS!!!!

It is Icor collection agency.They are rude, persistant and not very bright.They collect for Rogers and Fido, probably more.Unless you like bi-hourly harassment Never answer or call them back!!I mean NEVER!!!Even if no such person exists in that household, they DO NOT believe you and will make your life a TOTAL night mare!!I guess they get paid for every call...probably work on an auto dialling system...low educated, frustrated and poorly paid scuz who take a perverse pleasure in harassing people to commpensate for there meaningless,pathetic existences..no exaggeration!!
