- Barbara Gusethese guys have been calling here for no valid reason as early as 7:15 am waking all in the home up. They are a nuiance to society. My home number is a new phone number of only a few weeks as we have only moved to this city. The first time I called the number back and got answered by an angry girl...no company name mentioned just a gruff hello so I hung up without even saying hello back. Got better things to do than talk to idiots who aren`t professional. But these jerks have to learn laws are laws and they are not above them.

- Jay MIf you ever want to make sure a business is legit just call your consumer protection agency for your province. I googled the keywords: "Alberta consumer protection" and got this:

I called the number for my province I was put on the phone with an officer of the department who confirmed that 1-866-294-1752 (IQOR) is a legit operation.
I then relaxed and wondered how much I owed. I called IQOR back and the person who answered was helpful. They just needed to confirm I was who I said I was which makes sense. They asked for my name, phone number and address which I either confirmed or updated.
Then I learned that this was about an old Fido account that I still owe $76 bucks on. I'm not going to lie, that sounds exactly correct. I flaked on Fido when I jumped ship to Wind Mobile and "forgot" to pay my bill as I left. I was young, dumb, angry and it's probably not a coincidence I didn't have much luck making money with an attitude like that.
This all happened this morning. I paid it entirely and haven't received a call since. I expect a letter from them within 10 days that confirms my file is closed and no other credit collection company will be calling me. If they do, I have a letter and if that doesn't work I can always call the consumer protection agency again to update them on the situation.
So there you go. I just wanted to let you guys know what to do if you suspect a scam. And if you flake on your bills you can expect to get contacted. In a perfect world nobody would be rude when they do, but hey in a perfect world we'd all pay our bills on time. Being polite is nice but contracts are the core issue here.
Also fyi their reps just people so if you're nice they're nice. The guy I talked to was from Toronto and had an accent that was easy to understand. I think some of them are more irritable than others, and I think the people they are calling are probably at least half to blame. Some of the things they have to put up with would contribute to them feeling irritable and getting defensive. That is probably the worst job on the planet that is still legal. - ColtynHJust started getting phone calls from these douchers last week. They call every morning twice at 7:20am pacific standard time and wont leave me alone. I'm registered under Fido....I never call them back or pick up anymore.
- Not ImpressedI get a phone call from 866-294-1752 about 10 + times per day. I have never answered my phone (cell) to this number because I dont know who it is, nor do I owe any money. After the first call, I googled the number and found several complaints and thats the main reason I dont answer the call.

Annoyed - Julesi got 2 phone calls early this morning, phone was on silent.. So i checked my voicemail... All i heard was someone whistling a song.. For about a minute then hangs up... I see earlier posts saying its a collections agency, why would they call if i have nothing for them to collect... Bunch of idiots. They used to call me off a 240 number sometimes 6 times a day and would hang up after 1 ring.

Finally they called again yesterday when I was available, I decided enough is enough. I answered it, the guy with very broken english asks for someone completely different (asking for the same person when 604 # was calling for repeatedly about 6 months ago) and I said they had the wrong number. The guy goes "oh" and hangs up.
Probably won't be the last I hear from them. . .ugh. - nomorecallsTo stop calls to not talk to caller. Hang up. The call the 800 number and state you do not want to receive any more calls and hangup. They get a charge every time they get an incoming call. Those charges add up quickly. You can always download a auto dialer program from the web to send out a prerecorded message.

THANK-YOU! - Rebecca BI have been receiving calls from this number for a few days now. What's annoying is that a) the calls start before 8am b) no one responds when I pick up & c) they call back every 15 mins.
I decided to call back and to my surprise someone answered. He said his company was called "iQor Corp" and that they're a collection agency. He requested my phone number to "check the system" and I reluctantly gave it to him. He said that a "Michael Bell listed this number as a contact number". I told him that no one named Michael Bell lived at this address and he said that he'd remove our number from his system and that it will take "24-48 hours for the calls to stop". Call and see if you can clear it up. They're a collection agency. It seems that someone named "Michael Bell" gave my # as a contact, and now I'm getting these annoying calls. iQor told me that they'd remove my number for this file. When they call your number and it is NOT you...the numbers are recycled in the cellular world after 30 days so they call you thinking they are getting Brian, Nick, or Kevin on the line...- Caller: unknown
