I am still phoning them back and immediately putting them on hold.  They eventually hang up when they realize there is no one on the line... but hey, at least I am getting my little revenge.  I will say that they do have many different people answering the phone and some of them are pretty darn snotty... but since I've only been putting them on hold lately, I don't really care who answers.  I figure that if I call them 20 times a day, it will let me extract a little revenge.

Oohhh, they are getting a little ansy since I started calling them and putting them on hold.  They even tried putting a loud tone on the line, I guess to piss me off, but I just put them on hold and didn't have to listen to their silly tone.

these people have been harrassing me 3 times a day for the past week; i called the number and they said they were looking for someone else but cannot remember who they said they were; something with canada in the name.

I've been getting calls from this number every day for about 2 weeks now, often more than once a day. When I answer I often just get a recording to "stay on the line for an important call", and after about 30 seconds it simply hangs up on me. When I do get a human, they ask me for personal information and seem very sure they have the right person despite not actually giving me any information about why they are calling since I refuse to give them the info they "need to verify" my identity with. They eventually get the hint that I'm not going to give a random person who calls me person information for no reason, and hang up...just to call again a few hours (or a day) later.

I got so fed up with the calls that I blocked the number they were using a couple days ago, and just now got another call from them, this time from a blocked number.

This is getting pretty aggravating...

Who are  these people? 5 or more calls a day. If they want to talk to me than leave a message. I am sooooooo fed up with them.

I didnt get a call from these guys, my best friend got a call of them asking for my number. The guy introduced himself as MY dad, and asked for MY phone number. Few things wrong with that:

a. My dad obviously knows my phone number;
b. My dad also knows my best friend very well.
c. My dad also works construction, there's no way he'd be calling my best friend off work to find out my number... You guys understand how ridiculous it gets from this point. Imho, Scam.

calls every 2 hours, no one there, I called back and they were lokkoing for someone else but the phone calls keep coming.

These guys are collectors that try to collect money from owed debts. They are very annoying and they wont give up. They will call till the end of time. No one seems to know how to get them to stop. It's annoying at the least when you get calls fromm these people. if anyone can help in ending these calls, please let everyone know. The Canadian no call list does'nt seem to scare them cause they keep on calling. threats with legal action or anything else will not stop these people. Sooner or later, the government has to step in and stop these guys from harrassing the people of Ontario. If you or I were to call someone on a daily basis, we would be charged with harrassment but not these people. Where/when will this all stop?

I think the money lending companies need to do better background checks on the people who are borrowing money from them.this way they can be sure of getting the correct information and the debt collection companies can go after the right people who owe the money.

this number is so damn irritating..they call my boyfriend's phone every damn minutes..it is really getting to me cause he just had surgery and these [***] are really bothering his rest..

Please get these calls to stop.  They call me every morning and I am sick of it

a collections call for rogers.  what a scumbag company.

Call Type: Debt Collector

This number calls me several times a day but when I answer they hang up...this is no collection agency I have dealt with them before and they do not hang up, or leave dead air messages which is what I get when i let the answering machine take it.

I dealt with a collection agency before, and even if you do owe them money, they have to send you a written letter before the attempt to call you. So basically if they are a REAL collection agency, they behaviour is illegal.
I've been getting phone calls from them at least three times a day but i never answer. They left a message on my machine once asking for another person who i don't know but who has the same family name.

I get a call from this number every day in the morning-afternoon time. So annoying. And this started only after I signed a 3 year contract with Rogers. I'm suspicious now. This number didn't show up befotre at all.

Thats hilarious LOL I have had my number for almost 9 (nine) years and have been getting calls for Clayton and Nalini Huckle. "Hey, idiots - if the Huckles didn't pay their freakin bills, do you REALLY think they have the same phone number"?

I have tried reasoning with them, asking to speak to a supervisor, threatening them - nothing works. Thankfully we have call display on our phones, I just ignore these calls.

hi yes hey people yes these guy are debt collectors , the worst kind too , under paid , over worked , these , people , are like in india , you they use the third world countries don't they,, geez im sure they do , thats the accent they have,

yep , it is very irritating, i get the same call , now foe the third morning in a row , but now , i'm just gonna call block the bloody [***]'s............ pat

We have been receiving calls 3-4 times a day from Icor Canada.  They leave a pre-recorded message asking us to call right away as it is very important.  I called back the first time to be told the message was really for my husband and not me.  So when my husband came home that night, he called them and they were looking for a certain person that we didn't even know.  Later that same week, they called again and I politely told them to never call here again as we did not know that person they were looking for.  But calls still come in but we do not answer and they insist on leaving the same message over and over again and we erase it.  
They are really the worst nuisance.
