Report a phone call from 866-542-6911 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Patient-1I received a call from this number but missed it. No Message. No Probem. Nice to find out who it was. Lots of Sprint bashing going on I see . . I have been upset with them a time or two and even checked out prices to see if I could get a better deal. Unfortunately, NO other provider was able to provide the same package at the same cost. Sprint saves me money and my cell phone service works great. My take on it is if you don't know who it calling, don't answer just Google it if you really want to know. Don't sweat the small stuff . . patience is a virtue. :-)
- Terry TaylorCalled twice a day; September 9th & 10th. No massage. ?
- Caller: unknown
- Sparky 1Ever since Sprint and Nextel joined NASCAR their service has gotten worse. Notice how NASCAR and Sprint has gotten worse. I'm just asking
- sunniCall them @ 611 from your cell and demand they STOP, I did but had to do it twcie in one year. Bye-Bye when this contract is up in 2 mos!!! Whoo-hoo!
- Caller: Sprint
- art allencalled me but left no message, looks like it happens to others too.
- LesReplacing bad phones under coverage. Be aware that the insurance company that covers Sprint phones can change the deductable at anytime. I have a Samsung Instinct and had to replace it. The $50 coverage charge was increased to $100 because they said they were losing money on the plan. Be aware of what you sign and that the insurance replacement cost can increase anytime.
- LesBTW.... to the credit of the workers at my local Sprint store, they did honor the original $50 deductible after some NICE discussion with me.... LOL
- AmandaGot a call around noon today.. I called sprint to see why my bill was higher than normal.. It was resolved. She did mention I'd be getting a survey. I didn't answer it because I was takin a nap and my phone was across the room and I couldn't get it in time. *shrug*
- LynnThis number called me twice with no message. The only reason I have Sprint is because they give me a 20% discount on all of my service.
- AJYeah... exactly what Lynn said! LOL
It's kind of assenine that Sprint has an automated customer service survey. There are so many other better ways to get feedback on their customer service. Regardless, I've found that you only get contacted when you have recently dealt with their customer service dept. What's more assenine is that they don't have the caller ID set up to tell you that it is Sprint that is calling. I might have actually answered the call then!
If you get a cellular call and you don't recognize the number, a person really only has 2 choices...
#1.) Answer it and deal with the situation.
Or, #2.) Don't answer the call and then get on-line and post on a forum with the rest of us and [***] about it! LMAO!
FYI: If a call comes up that I'm NOT expecting and that I don't recognize, then I DON'T answer it! My belief is that if the call is important, they will leave a message. That's what voicemail is for! If someone can't be bothered to leave a message, then GOOD, I can't be bothered to talk to them!
Truth be told... the ONLY reason I'm still with Sprint is because they give my wife and I a 20% discount on our plan because of where she works. Since other service providers can't (or WON'T) seem to give such a deal that even comes close, I guess I'm going to stay with Sprint.
However, the first time that Sprint ever tries to "screw" me will be their last... Verizon has much better cellular reception and service in my area, and virtually everyone I know has Verizon!
They get to call each other for "free" from cell to cell. I can call other Sprint users "free" too, BUT NOBODY I call on a regular basis HAS SPRINT! Hmmm, go figure.
During the daytime, I have to burn minutes like crazy, when calling is practical & necessary.
Regardless, there's no sense getting all worked up about this... Just ignore this number and move on! Or, if you don't like it, just answer the call.
Answer a few quick feedback questions for them - it's pretty painless.
Look at it this way, it's not (supposedly) costing you any of your anytime minutes, and at least Sprint is trying to improve their company!
Perhaps if people made it KNOWN to Sprint that this was such an annoyance, maybe they would stop it or at least modify the process? Ya never know!
Peace out!- Caller: Sprint Customer Service Survey
- AJOh, on other thing I wanted to mention about Sprint...
By dialing *2 (from a Sprint cell phone) you'll get Sprint Customer Service.
Ironically, when I called I reached a woman in Kentucky. Well, I'm in New York, so I found that kinda funny. However, thank god that Sprint is employing AMERICANS!!! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they don't have their customer service call center based out of INDIA or CHINA!
Know what really pissed me off is that when I called my "LOCAL" full service Sprint Store, those [***] NEVER answered the phone! I just kept burning up my minutes with a dozen call backs and waiting on hold in their endless automated [***] system, which ultimately hangs up on you after you have been on hold for a while. Sprint needs better policy when it comes to answering their phones at their "stores". I finally remembered the *2 option to contact a Sprint representative, and so I did that instead. MUCH better service AND they helped me with my needs quickly and politely. Awesome!
If this (866)542-6911 survey call irritates you so much, perhaps giving them a call and POLITELY voicing your concern will eventually cause Sprint to change this current method of surveying. Additionally, in the short term, perhaps you can be added to a "list" of people that don't want to be contacted by Sprint. It just might work!
Remember this... no matter how aggravated you are, calling and acting like an [***] or being rude and nasty won't get you anywhere. Remember, the people on the other side of the phone are just there doing their job. They have to listen to miserable people all day long. Be the one that is POLITE to them while explaining your situation. You will likely be AMAZED how much you will be able to accomplish in getting what you want from them.
Again, peace out!- Caller: Sprint Customer Service Survey
- EHIt is Sprint wanting you take a survey. They make this call after you've made a call to customer service. They are wanting to know how your call was handled.
- will switch too verizonSprint customer service will keep calling till u answer thier stupid survey, I think.
- Caller: NONE but its sprint
- T BarlowJust got called from this number. When I answered, nothing was
there. I had talked with Sprint customer service yesterday about
a charge on my bill. They took it off. The customer service was
great.
I just called them back and took the survey. Half the
questions was to say yes I did say yes to the previous answers.- Caller: Sprint
- I.In reference to AJ's post about being polite, Sprint seems to respond very well to anger and threats of changing to another carrier. I had a phone that was not working still under warranty, and spent two hours on the phone being nice. I finally cut loose with a line of profanity that would make Andrew Dice Clay blush with shame, and in 5 minutes I was saying thank you to the head of the "escalations" department for sending a replacement phone next day air.
Their habit of surveying customers after each call to *2 is moronic. They record the conversations anyway and should be able to tell if you were happy or not.
Other than that Sprint is just another wireless company, and are no better or worse than any other. - Ms. MeTHIS IS STUPID SURVEY FROM SPRINT. THEY JUST DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU THEY ARE ONLY WORRIED ABOUT HOW TO MAKE MORE MONEY. I DO NOT RECOMEN TO ANYONE THIS COMPANY.
- Caller: SPRINT
