- BillYes, this is a Sprint Cust. Service Survey....
- MooraI was curious about this number, so I searched for it on Google and it led me here. So I called it, took the survey, and then as soon as I had hung up it called me again! I didn't answer that time...how annoying.
- Caller: Sprint
- Matt in IllinoisSprint sucks. I recently moved in a bigger city and my service is terrible. I can't even get a good signal when I'm out in my driveway. I'm even near an interstate, supposedly you're service should be great. NOT for me. Switching to Verizon when my contract is up.
- AngI received a call 3 times in one day. Same thing, no voicemail left. It is so annoying. I usually do not answer my phone unless I recognize the phone #. It ticks me off that our cell phone # are now or soon will be released just like our home phones. Can we not have any privacy???
- H-D Thunder| 1 replyOK here is the latest info on this number and this issue:
Spoke with corporate customer care minutes ago, (Wed/Jan/23/2008 7:50 EST).
Call Origin: Third Party Survey Auto Dialer Set Up For Nextel/Sprint Recent Customer Care Surveys.
The Manager in Sprint customer Care was informed that these unsolicited calls where coming in to many customers phones and when unanswered the caller left no announcement of who it was or what it wanted, in other words no introductory hello message.
She proceeded to inform me that when you call in to customer care you get an option via the voice prompts during the intro to accept a future customer survey.
I promptly informed her that this is not happening and NO voice prompt ever asked me about ANY customer survey.
While on the phone with the her I had her call several of the customer care numbers, and she regretted to inform me that I was absolutely correct and there is no option to accept or deny this survey.
Of course she is forwarding (escalating..lol) all of this to the dept in charge of this third party handled harassment issue including my phone number for reference and for a call back letting me know what the status of this issue is.
She could not have agreed more that this is a real issue of concern and should be corrected ASAP, however she did tell me that there was little chance of getting this auto survey to be removed, and the auto dialer would keep calling until I answered, chose yes to the survey then hang up. This effectively tels the auto dialer that I have responded and the takes me off of the list.
I suggested to her that this falls very close to harassment and might solicit a law suit for phone harassment from the masses due to the fact that there is no announcement stating who the caller is, and if it does not stop yesterday. Not to mention the potential for my account and many other customers accounts moving over to there competitors because of this.
So this is the scoop on this issue and where it is at at the moment.
My personal observances and opinions of this issue are many. The ones that stand out at the top of the list is the fact that there appears to be too many hands on this constructed body called Sprint/Nextel to know what they are all doing and effect a prompt change or correction in the system where and when needed. When you have several entity's trying to run the same Big Show, the issue of accountability comes into play or should I say the LACK of ACCOUNTABILITY.
As a customer we all get upset when things aren't right, and justifiably so, on the other hand imagine how the support employees feel when they get something like this thrown at them and are in the middle much the same as we are, and can only "ESCALATE" an issue to the proper department. I would have to believe that it would be more efficient for the company to transfer the customer to the proper party on issues that warrant it and I mentioned this to the manager also, that the support staff should have this option in place for them to transfer the customer to tech. I told her imagine if I could have talked to tech right now on this instead of you,how much more effective and how much farther ahead we would be right now on this GIANT ISSUE borderline illegal activity, and she was sympathetic and understood my point of view.
PS The manager also told me that one of her staff members at corporate support just told her that they also just got the same call about unsolicited auto dialer surveys from sprint.
Yes it looks like the S**T will really hit the proverbial fan on this one and with this much attention likely to be given to the issue (CUSTOMERS PLEASE CALL CUSTOMER CARE DIRECT AND COMPLAIN TO - NO END) we will have one less unsolicited annoyance call to worry about while all the other unsolicited telemarketers keep on a calling and we all keep ignoring them.
As I mentioned to the sprint support manager we can not do anything YET about the telemarketers that can reroute auto dialer caller id numbers and auto dial thousands of numbers. These dialers end up by chance consecutive calling, connecting to our phones without solicitation leaving many to wonder how in the H**** did they get my number?
As these auto dialers are constantly being re-routed and in effect changing the dialed from caller ID numbers and if they are blocked or our phone numbers changed the auto dialers will run consecutively dial numbers from a starting point and likely some will get through in the future. My best policy and the majority of others I believe is to ignore all incoming calls that are not recognized.
Best Regards

- cannot handle sprintThis number calls me up to 5 times a day! only once here and there during my off peak hours. early in the morning, late in the evening! it's like having a stalker! i stupidly signed a 2 year contract with them but thank goodness that is up in 2 months. i cannot wait to switch back to t-mobile. i never experienced this with them. every month the bills are wrong and i have to spend at least an hour on hold getting them corrected. it seriously is a HUGE hassle.
- LindaI got this the other evening, no message. if it is Sprint, I'm not interested. My contact is up in April and I will never sign with them again. Every month is the the same thing, spending time on the phone having charges removed from my bill it has been two years of bull---t. I'm totally done with them.
I can't believe thay are allowed to continue treating their customers like this. - LindaI got this the other evening, no message. if it is Sprint, I'm not interested. - Caller: do not know
- JoSprint's customer service is rapidly going down the toilet as far as I am concerned. Not only is the customer service terrible, they make matters worse by calling without revealing the source of the call and leaving no message. If they call me again, I will lodge a complaint against Sprint for harassing phone calls.

- Newly Past Sprint CustomerThis number has called me twice today with in a 3hr span - It has left automated messages on my voice mail - Its Sprint wanting me to do a customer service survey. Well they wont like what I have to say about their customer service. Its so bad I am breaking my contract and going to another provider. Hey Sprint how is that for a response to your survey?
- MTThe calls from this number to my cell phone come in streaks. It will be 2, 3 and 4 calls a day for a while and then nothing. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. I figure if they won't leave a message, I won't answer their calls like I don't answer ANY call that I don't recognize as I have to pay for the minutes usage for these calls.

definately sticking with sprint - GmanI got the call and searched it out. Finding out it was Sprint Cust survey I will certainly answser.
I called in and got great service right away.
If you had problems with the how you were worked with, then ANSWER THE SURVEY! How can you expect them not to fix something if you don't tell them?! - jjaazzyThank goodness for this site! I was able to quickly see who was calling me. As for all the Sprint bashing, I like Sprint I had them years ago and they were a pain and I left and went to T-mobile and it was really really bad for us and getting worse. The customer service was really bad the only thing they know how to say is NO! Many problems I won't go into but so far with Sprint we have fantastic service with our phones, no talk back and dropped calls are very rare. It really depends on your area when choosing a cell company. I will say that I had one phone fail that was in perfect condition and they returned it to me with no repair or replacement said user neglect! That pissed me off! I went to a service center and he agreed the phone was in fantastic shape and he replaced it for me! Sprint if you have more caring staff you will be better off for it!
