- lazy rob replies to gratefulvery helpful. Gosh, the people at these seminars must have no self respect. what a way to earn a living. I prefer to write a "nice" little message about shoving something somewhere and mail it back to them.
- Sue replies to SteveI just cut and pasted the following from the B.B.B. in Whitehouse TX. T.J. Johnson runs under several other company names they got an F for a business grade with 9 complaints filed.
This company operates under various promotional names with various vacation type offerings. Consumers allege the mailers are deceptive.
As of 2010, the company is sending out a card by mail, which claims in red letters, "Sorry We Missed You," and also in red letters, "Call To Schedule Pickup Notice," along with a package number. The card asks the consumer to call (888) 4-PAK-Del or (888) 472-5535 or (903) 839-1500. On calling the number, the consumer is asked for the twelve-digit pick up number. Consumers are told they have a free vacation package, then they are asked for a credit card number to pay for a, "...nominal delivery fee," which must be paid in advance.
Consumers state that they believe that Express Package Delivery is using deceptive marketing tactics, since there was no missed attempted delivery. Further, some consumers feel that by responding to the card, they have unintentionally revealed their phone number, which is on the national "do not call" list. These consumers are concerned that their phone numbers may be shared or sold.
In addition to the complaints reflected in this report, BBB has received a pattern of complaints (more than fifteen) that were sent for file information and to advise BBB what area of the country the cards were being distributed.
Please see general information regarding Vacation Certificates.
June 1, 2010 Ms. Mona Smith, responded to a certified letter sent to CDA from BBB requesting a meeting with the company. Ms. Smith expressed a desire to cooperate with BBB in addressing consumer complaints in order that they might improve their BBB Rating within the coming three year reporting period.
In September, Ms Smith contacted BBB stating that CDA Consulting (also known as Express Package delivery) does not ask for a fee nor do their marketing people ask for credit card numbers. - (604)536-2424Saw this post on another website -
So JUST rented a house from this Tej Danjou and he offered to pay for 4 hours of cleaning so I pay out of my pocket and so far 3 weeks later, I'm still waiting for my $300 bucks. **sigh** I wish I would have found this site before I rented the house :( . This is not the only thing going on either - I could go on...
The manager at Sutton says he cannot do anything as Tej only rents an office there. Its a shame that Proact is giving a bad name to Sutton.

- Whitney replies to RushtrailsI hear ya haha, your brain always knows better.. But there is always an urge to follow your gut to get something free lol.. Glad I found this site too guys, thank you! Well more so for my mom, to whom it was addressed to. But after she had to deal (or I had to deal) with some horrible Trojans she got from opening horrible spam and "free giveaway" stuff that almost destroyed her entire brand new laptop, she now knows to show me or ask me about anything suspicious.. Mail, calls or email. Everyone who has parents or grandparents who might be targets on this crap.. Make sure you have a conversation with them about it.. Even if you think they would never fall for it! :/ I get so mad at people who feel the need to target the less technological knowledgeable.. So sad! :(
- JayGot the same letter, thank you for letting me know this is a scam. Shouldn't this be a capital crime. I hate people that take advantage of the unsuspecting. Somebody should go after these guys.
- Russ replies to SteveI got the same letter. Its a scam!
- GEE replies to BaneSorry for the delay. I demanded to speak to a manager and told them that it did not make sense to have to fill out a W-9 form. They told me they will make an exception and go ahead and send the gifts. I hate taking one person word as golden. Therefore, I called again a week later and I was told that the gifts will be on the way. I have a delivery date no later than July 19, 2012. I will let you know if I actually get it. I am calling on Monday again to see if it is in the system as about to be delivered or not.
- GEE replies to Scam AlerttHIS IS IN THEIR TERMS FOR THE TRIP "Registration Activation Fee of $50 per ticket is payable with completed Activation Form. Only original form will be accepted and the Activation Form must be received within 30 days of issue date provided. This payment is non-refundable and will be applied to taxes and fees. The activation fee must be paid in the form of a money order or cashier's check. Any other forms of payment will void the offer". I see that if you have a party of two you will have to pay 100.00, but this is the crazy part only money order or cashier check so they can run off with that money I think. They should have just said cash only. I am not interested in this trip, but that Tablet it says nothing about a fee. We shall see how this turns out.
