Got a call from this place.  They claim to be trying to collect a 20 year old debt of $200.  THEY told ME my name, address & SSN and had no idea whether I was the person they thought I was (illegal).  They offered me a deal if I paid up (I don't owe it). They also tried to bully me (illegal) by saying that I was a deadbeat and don't pay my bills.  I told them to send paperwork regarding the debt since they knew my address.  He said, oh, yeah, we'll send the paperwork since you don't want to pay up.  I had to laugh about the whole thing, what do I care whether this idiot thinks I'm a deadbeat, he knows NOTHING about me, but other people may get upset by bullying.  Next time I call, I'll have one of my bosses, who is an attorney, talk to them and see what they say.

this is a total scam praying on people.  check your state laws before you return their call -- many if not all times -- if this is your debt - the statute of limitations applies

I have no debts and would like to know who is calling me and why but not by answering the telephone call from ALW Sourcing. A very annoying call.

Funny everyone on here owes debts and don't want to pay, so they go on blogs and write false statements about collection agencies. If you are getting a call from a collection agency, you forgot to pay. ALW Sourcing is a third party collection agency. that mean the do not buy debts or sell. The strictly collect, why poeple get upset for getting collection call, just baffles me. people think once an accout is past 7 years they do not owe the debt anymore. what people don't understand or not informed by thier atty or these blogers is the account get sold to other financial companies every two year, if account is not paid, which give them the right to continue to make negative inquires against the credit report. funny i wonder who are the scammers, people who owe debts and complain when the get collection calls, no matter how old the account is are like bank robbers. they go to jail and want to keep the money. funny

Alw has no Lawsuits against them, anyone that try failed. check the records

SOmeone says this is not a scam is bsing you.  I have perfect credit.  In the 90's my credit was bad that was settled and my report is clean.  These credit collection companies are scamming. They get big write offs on debt they never intend to collect.  I paid one down from 3500 to 1500 and when they sold the debt to another they went back to the old balance of 3500, so i stopped paying after they wouldn't accept it.  I have a clean credit report and these people are looking for something they already wrote off as a loss.  Its a scam.

They claim i owe thousands of dollars  but get this it is with a bank i have never done any banking with what a joke these people are never do anything with these people

We receive daily calls from this company.  We do not owe any debts.

ALW Sourcing, LLC is part of the chain from Lane Bryant, World Financial,
MCO Portfolio Management, and Asset Care,Inc.  Others, under the NCO aegis,
also seem involved.  In essense, they attempting to collect on a bill that
Lane Bryant has sold to them that dates to the year 2000. Repeated requests as
to what was purchased, where it was shipped, and why didn't I/we hear of this
before 2008 are never answered.  I have discovered that my family did move to
Missouri & then returned because 1 of their agents indicated surprise that we
would move back to the exact address in Michigan. A formal complaint was filed
with our city police, but that's only something 'to be on record'.  Identity
theft is suspected or a significant record keeping problem at Lane Bryant had occurred.  That will never be discovered until someone on their end actually
renounces the doctrine of Lane Bryant infallibility.   As to what you can do
to bring focus to this situation is a bit complex, but bear with me.  5 women
were MURDERED at a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park, Illinois.  A $100k reward
was announced on Fox News in May of 2008. I am of the opinion that the killer
is someone NCO & Company pushed over the edge trying to collect a bogus bill.
Tinley Park Police # 708-444-5394.  If you agree, give them a call.  I have
twice now.  This may catch a killer and if so, shine a great light on this
entire situation.  I have no trouble sharing this reward or establishing a
trust fund for the children of the victims.

I work for a branch of a major coporation, so we don't pay bills out of this office. This number keeps calling. I finally called back out of curosity and they lady I spoke wit was awful. She said it was referencing so-and-so, who doesn't work here and probably has never worked here. Then she told me the number they were calling, which was not our number. So how are they reaching this number and why are they calling me? I will know now not to return the calls in the future.

I have been getting these same annoying calls at least 3 times a day. It is a recorded message. I regarded it as the same scam as the manufacturer vehicle warranty on you car calls due to expire. This was an actual scam as Senator Charles Schumer of New York was on the news talking about it. So even if it seems real and legal if the person is a collection agency these people should have all the information on hand and not need you to give it to them!!!!!! Never give anyone information over the phone or send money etc through the mail unless you know whom they are and always follow it up with the better business bureau or federal trade commission or Attorney General's Office where you live!

Well they wereeee looking for me for a 10 year old debt.  They asked for my info, i provided fake info and told them they had the wrong person, and they took my number off the list. woo hoo!

You may or may not want to speak to them. But if you do, do NOT give them any financial information as they will make promises and tell you that they will offer you a settlement and if you don't take it they will put bad information on your credit report and ruin your credit.  They tried to tell me I had an outstanding debt from 1988 (21 years ago)  Fortunately, I have prepaid legal so I called my attorney and he advised me that the statue of limitations had expired on that three times over.  He was making a call on my behalf to ALW Sourcing and telling them to cease any and all collections on this.

CRW LLC Credit Collection. Apparently people are so bankrupt they are giving out wrong numbers OR MAYBE the debt collector are trying to scam us, by making us believe that we owe them.

sleazebags have been calling and hanging up. 9:47am My number is unlisted. It's a $500 fine for them on each unsolicited call.

I had recieved a call from the stating I owe a debt from BOA which was true. Now NCO owns 40% of Alw. Now people ya'll really need to understand that ALW is THIRD PARTY COLLECTIONS in which that means they have debt from a few months old to 20 yrs. you proably don't remember because it is old but your still obiligated to pay. If you want to dispute then dispute. What will happen is the actuall creditor will send you out a mail proving you of the debt and will get sent right back to an agency. everyone thinks everything is a scam but when you think about it you scam people everyday. Borrowing things and not giving it back. You lied, maybe if ya'll would have paid it in the beginning you would not be getting these calls or maybe you should have never applied for the credit at all

It appears DeAirra is another caller/collector for ALW sourcing and is towing the company line.  It is obvious that ALW is also monitoring things via the internet, so I would be careful about posting personal information here or admitting to debt that might be used against you.

I find it interesting that the people who are "standing up" for ALW, have poor grammar and spelling skills, and refer to people as "ya'll".  I find it insulting to be "talked down to" by someone who can't even compose a proper sentence.

Meanwhile, they will continue to harass "ya'll".

This comment is for fleshy. the term ya'll is slang if you do not already know, and for your info I am not a collector at ALW I work for comcast. When you read it states that I owed debt to them just like most people that have comment on this subject. I know this information because I myself put my account dispute to show proof a credit. You need to get your [***] right before coming at someone.

They may be a legit debt collector, but they do not follow federal regulations.  I have a return receipt of a debt validation and request for written contact only letter and they are still calling.
