Got this phone call today from this number saying they were from bmo and I had important business matters to attend on my account and to call their customer service line or log into my account at www.bmo com

have thee calls everyday sometimes 3/4 a day

Humm I call bull [***] on this I just called BMO it’s self this is not a BMO number it is a scam

Calls claiming to be from the Bank of Montreal.
Scam - they don't know any information about me and when I confronted them they hang up.
They ask for information details to "Confirm" it is me and refuse to give any information that the real bank would have, they even called on a number the bank doesn't have for me.

Got a text asking me to call them at this number regarding my mastercard ending with XXXX. They actually had the right 4 digits of my card. I will not be calling them back as I don't believe that BMO would text me about my card. These scammers are smart and they have just enough information to make you believe. Don't fall for this. They send out thousands of these messages every day and if they catch 1 or 2, then they have had a great work day.

Voice message states they are calling from BMO about account issue. BMO denied knowledge of this number and indicated it as fraudulent. Do not give account information.

This number keeps calling, but hangs up after the second ring, and there is no one on the line when I lift my landline receiver and say hello

I blocked this number on my cell phone, then i received a letter from a Pawsnvir Sahita that i owe then 8$k on a Master Card account ... that i closed in 2009 ! SCAM!

got a call from this number yesterday talking about credit line. They asked for my personal information which I refused to verify on the phone. Very suspicious!!! I'm going to block this number.

Then why would they call me if I dont even bank with them, nor do I have a credit card with them? I've never been with them. So as everyone else has been saying, its a scam so read the posts...

I own a cell phone for emergency purposes only and it is usually never turned on.  I recently had to use it and left it on and to my surprise I received a call ~ 17h with this 1-888 number.  I do not answer the call since no one has this phone number except immediate family.  I left it on for fun and sure enough every day around the same time I get a call from this number.  Had to listen to the messages today (as there were 9 of them over 9 days) since my mailbox was getting full and all of them were a computer voice saying that I need to call 1-888-676-2269 about my BMO account or that I could log into BMO.com.  Never mentioned my name, or the actual problem on the recorded message.

Now I do have BMO accounts and I checked and all of my bills/loan payments have all been paid ahead of time and in full.   I even checked the contact numbers that I have registered at BMO and my emergency cell is not listed.  I will not be returning this call...the "BMO collection agency" has my home phone number if they are legit and need to reach me.

Left a message for me to call them re: my account.

scam, show on phone BMO regarding our account but we do not have any.

This number is documented.
Due diligence will be paid.
If this is an identity theft or other fraudulent fronts for asset theft they will be exposed and prosecuted…It is just a matter of time …

Dear Anonymous! I am not calming down. This is fraud.  I am up to date on everything you mentionned. They call at my office regardless having my personal cell phone and home phone number. Sorry. It doesn't work with me. I asked the answerer for whom he is working (the Company who send him his pay check. The answer wasn't what I tought.  SINGLE POINT is the company.... NOT BMO... So Dear Anonymous!, unless you are working for SINGLE POINT and scam people, or you don't do your search properly.
