It is Jamster - I spoke with Vodafone
send a text STOP ALL to 88888 and that will unsubscribe you
I also spoke to a very helpful lady at Netsize support on 08082 343605 who tracked the calls and could tell me when my son apparently "subscribed" for this rubbish. She also sent email into Jamster to start process for them to explain to me why they are selling to my 13 year old son without my consent and for me to try and get my money back.

My 9 year old daughter did something similar, she was playing a childs game on the internet when it asked her for her phone number. she entered her mobile number not knowing she was subscribing to JAMSTER for music downloads costing £1.50 per recieced text containing a download link. She thought the rexts were some kind of advertising and just deleted them. I phoned Jamster on 08701213186 to cancel the subscription and they blocked the number to stop it happening again.

Texts from 88888 are a fraudulent money-making scam. It is www.jamster.co.uk, you receive nonsense texts from them, and you get billed a fortune for the privelege. Go to their website, get a contact number, make sure you actually speak to someone (don't email or interact as that will probably end up with you being ripped-off even more) and get your "subscription" cancelled. This lot (whoever they are) should be closed down asap.
