i recieve calling from 88888888888

I called 08701 213186. Helpful gentleman stopped messages and I was refunded all money. Some other more reputable companies could learn from this customer service!!

I'm having this problem with my 12 year old daughter's phone.  I have read all your helpful info & will phone Jamster.  I'll use landline tho,  lol

88888 is a company which has been taking money off me for a long time, i am tired of this. someone help me. the STOP ALL or STOP tips seem to not work.

Fking 88888 keep messaging me some malay word like this: 88888: 11 Sep 2013, Rabu: Subuh 5.41 Syuruk 6.58 Zuhur 1.03 Asar 4.08 Maghrib 7.06 Isyak 8.15 then i ask my malay friends they say is some prayer time for malays they keep spamming every day so help me

This is obviously a fraud and really needs to be pursued by the police. Has anyone actually received the "refund" that is promised?
I'm loathe to bother with the 'text STOP' option as I suspect it's just another excuse to charge.
Oh and btw: probably not a good idea to post your mobile numbers here.

You need to Text STOP ALL and not just stop otherwise i might not stop?

I sent a STOP and i have just go another message from them i have now contacted the police and had it logged as a abusive  Nuisance call  and i have a log number .falling that i will terminate my contract as talk Mobil have not taken any steps to help me stop this.

My mobile received several messages from the number 88888.  One of the messages informed me that I had subscribed for £4.50 per week.  I do not know anything about this number.  I was in the middle of organising my father's funeral and I certainly do not have time nor inclination to subscribe to any mobile random number.  One of the messages contained an 0870 number which I phoned as the text message STOP ALL to 88888 does not work.  The operator said that I had subscribed.  I am extremely angry and upset about this as I am still unable to stop the texts coming through.  The operator wanted my name and address which I told him I was not prepared to give to a complete stranger.  I will take this to the highest level in the UK although the operator told me that they were not based in the UK.  This is a complete and utter fraud and scam.  Imagine how much all those £4.50's add up to.

The STOP  and the STOP ALL does not go through to the 88888 number.  You have to dial the 0870 number and then be charged more money.  I am furious with this scam.

And then i got a message from the 88888 number and thats the jamster tone club and they told me to download a eminem song. I called my dad and then he told me to text stop to them and i got my money back. i didnt even ask to join the club. It's a total con.  Thank you all

it happened to me just call their 0800 number and tell them to stop.. ive done it.

Hi, there. It happened to me too. 2 days ago i received the same text and then it took my £10 money that i had only just topped up. I hadnt subscribed at all. And then my father told me to just text them saying stop and i got all my money back. Be careful and if the 88888 number messages and takes my money again i will be cross. Sorry about your father. Hi there. It happened to me 2 days ago. And i was upset about it, because my father had only just topped up my phone £10. And they messaged me saying do i want to download and buy an eminem song. I called 453 to see if any of my money had been taken and it had, it was now on £4.50p left. I called my father as upset as i was and he told me to message them saying stop, they gave my money back. The cons  are terrible.  Everyone warn your friends and if anyone has got this problem then look at this information and get your money back
