If you owed me money I'd be calling you all day too. It is Verizon and you are past due on your bill. Pay your bill and the calls will stop!

Received calls from this number which hangs up

I have received up to two call in one day from 949-286-3311. I stopped answering because, I only get background breathing noise. I have Verizon, but the number is a land line from Long Beach Ca.

who the freak is this?  it could be verizon since i am late on my bill.........

Do not answer for this number. It is a scam. Do not give them any information what-so-ever.

This number is Verizon Wireless.  They are calling, as the number associated to an account with Verizon is past due.  It's a collection call and not scammers.  If you're not comfortable answering the call, simply call verizon wireless and talk to them yourselves.

I normally do not answer calls from telephone numbers that I do not recognize. i received several calls from this number and have refused to answer it, thinking 'if it is important, whomever would leave a message". I decided to Google the number, which led me here. I am grateful to everyone who has posted a comment prior to me. I am in belief that this is a SCAM!!!

I did a reverse search out of curiosity. If it were truly Verizon Wireless, they WOULD leave a message stating "This is Verizon Wireless, your account...", not just Verizon or send a text. In my reverse search, why would Verizon be calling from a Pac Bell account? Did Verizon buy out Pac Bell? Well, I'm not sure who merged with who anymore. I will pay my bill by walking it in from now on.

Recvd call from this number today.  Didn't get it in time to pick it up. Don't know anyone in orange county.

this number call 4 or 5 times a day...always just background noise when I answer..

ITS VERIZON WIRELESS FINANCIAL SERVICES....

The call is to prevent your phone from being shut off...

So answer...or its off in like 2 days...

Someone saying they are from Verizon Wireless.

I just got two calls today and a few calls within the last few days....if I don't know your number, I ain't answerin'.....but now after reading these posts....if Verizon has a problem with me, they send me email...no reason to call....

Wow. You people sure are first hand geniuses I tell you. Asian people scamming people of thousands of dollars? Goverment seeking out terroists? Well atleast SOME of you guys have half a brain! It IS Verizon Wireless! Wow, who would have guessedl. Seriously people? None of you has the brains to see that they're calling you at the same time that you don't pay your bills? I can see why. Of course there's nothing RATIONAL that could be going on. And what's up with some of you? Are you putting out these impossible things to mess with peoples heads or because your so stupid as to believe it? Seriously, get a brain.

Got this call this morning. I missed it by the time I got to my phone. They didn't leave a message. I do have verizon but I just got my bill in the mail yesterday and am current. Strange and annoying.
