Verizon worked well with this until last month when they said on 8 different tech calls to them they could no longer block it.  Suddenly they could no longer block the 999-999-9999 numbers but could block all others. I argued with them that they blocked it before and I have been recieving these calls at 10:30 pm 3:30 am 3:45 am and not answering but using minutes. Verizon said there wasnt anything more they could do. So its either third party cash to Verizon or its Feds working with Verizon or its Verizon double dipping. Anyway you look at it its such crap.

Calls started a few days ago as "out of area" but last night it escalated.  5 calls in less than an hour using "out of area" twice, "private caller" once and then 999-999-9999 and 000-000-0000.  Phone company won't help.  These are scammers and say they will continue to call until you give them money.  They use software that allows them to change their CID so blocking the numbers will not work.  The one time I answered there was a man with an accent who insulted me for a while and then said he would never stop calling.  If someone goes to those lengths to mask their identity then they are up to no good.  I was forced to turn off the ringer on my phone.  If someone has a legitimate reason to call they can leave VM.

I was with my husband today at canadian tire and i had my husbands phone because mine is not working it got sent away getting fixed. anyway we just got into our vehicle and 999-999-9999 texts my husbands phone and it says " Hi B_ _ _(my name) I'm watching you........" less then ten seconds later i got another text from the same number saying "How was canadian tire?" first off how to they know my name(no one ever spells my name right but they did) and second how did whoever it is know i had my husbands phone? can anyonehelp me i'm REALLY creeped out right now!!!

I picked up the phone in the kitchen this morning when the call came not having my cordless phone with me to see whom the caller was. Yes I answered for I took it was an emergency call of my mother in the nursing home, yet nope not them!!! The damn creep calling spoke in a fast female voice saying I committed theft at someone's house of robbery to their house storm windows & screens. Now what the hell kind of call is that for that damn item or whatever. Told the caller go to hell why not you commit the crime of that & rather you to report me to the FBI as they said I'll do it damn good to you!!! Ending told them to go to hell you no good sobs, then banged the phone.

I do not know who these calls are made from or where from  please block them from this # 363 5072 area code 219;

The 999-999-9999 numbers are BLOCKED CALLERS, whether its from a company or someones home phone or cell, if its blocked it shows up with all 9s.

ya its a collection agency alright but im guessing its an identity collection cause my friend got a text and it mentioned everything he was having and doing they said that he was drinking hot chocolate and he was they said he was in the living room and he was so they might be stalkers it might be the devil idk but all i know is that they know everything about everyone so if they call or text you again ask thema lot of questions to see if they getit right if they do be cautious and keep weapons with you cause if they know everything about you they caould be anyone including your friends and family so trust NO ONE!

Getting text messages from 999-999-9999,how do I find out who it is?, please help the person who seems to b e texting me from this number knows my name and alot about me? i need to track down who it is?how would i do that?

This must be the number used by a number of companies because I called the State Collection number and they had no record that they called my number.

I answered and told the man I do not take unidentified calls.  He said no problem, he would call me back later.  He sounded very suspicious and not at all like a bill collector and did not want to ramble into his "pitch" if he had one.  My guess is some sort of police call that connects them to your phone.

I received this call right after I contacted someone who is a suspected FBI informant.

My husband got a text message from 9999999999 phone number on his work cell and we were woundering why ? Said that they new an old friend of ours and wanted to hook up for a drink! If I could meet this person I would tell them next time they text our phone the police will be called to investagate.

this number keeps calling me and i have answered no talks back when ever i said hello its becoming a pain in the a$$ so i said if they call back they will be charged with harassment

If you are receiving text messages from 999 999 9999, they could be being sent by email through any computer. Texts can be sent to any cell phone from a computer. Here is a list of some addresses:

I am tired of getting text messages from this numb 999-999-9999 I get them all hours of the day and nite.
I also get messages from TELUS from this number and when I asked them why they say it is not there number.

I got a call from  this 999-999-9999 number. i answered and it was a male voice sounding like he was talking to someone else but he wouldnt answer me. I couldnt make out what he was saying and it was kinda like jubberish, it didnt even sound like he was speaking english but it didnt sound foreign either so im not sure. I said "hello" one last time and the caller hung up. The call only lasted a total of 40 seconds but i still found it quite odd. I had never heard of a number like this, when i tried to call back it said i was trying to call a number that didnt exist. My friend had gotten a call similiar to this from a 000-000-0000 number and the caller told him he was gonna die tonight in a whispery voice. I wonder if the 2 numbers could be linked?...
