received several calls over the past month from this number - recording indicates it is telemarketing from Verizon

I received a call from 999-999-9999.  I wasn't home at the time and they left no message.

It is getting annoying.  I wonder how they do that?  Regardless, it should be against the law!

what is scary is when 999-999-9999 or 777-000-0001 show up on your bill from Verizon and it has used your minutes and your phone's haven't even rung. When you call Verizon to ask they tell you something different every time. Put the blocks on your phones they still come threw. This has been going on with Verizon for 2 weeks now trying to stop this. I'm done, I called the Attorney Generals office and filing a complaint.

I received this call about 5:30PM today.
Caller ID said "name unavailable".
I no longer pick up ANY call that doesn't give me the name of who it is that's calling, and certainly not any # that is 999-999-9999.
If it's that important they'll leave a message on my voice mail.
This call didn't.

We are the CIA.  We own everything electronic, and we use your phone to listen in to everything in your house.  Once you pick up on our call spoofed as 999-999-9999, we then own your phone too.

My caller ID had the number 999-999-9999 with the title "Sun Loan Company" under it. What sinister company is this?

Got a call from this same number, answered it, and some guy said he was from the Republican National Committee soliciting donations and wanted my credit card number and wanted me to donate $100.  I am a Republican, but I didn't fall for this and told him sorry, no, and hung up on him.

I just got a call from a "Name Unavailable 999-999-9999" No answer all I heard was a click that sounded like hanging up. What's up? I'm scared. I have chronic fears!!! The urban legend says it's "The call of death" GOD HELP ME!!!

It was a call about voting against gay marriage in the state of Arizona.

watch your Verizon bill it is really interesting how they do there billing. For 9999999999 if you look at the current usage from there site you see it is an incoming call and how many minutes, even when you don't answer it, one of those calls to my phone was 75 min long, the phone wasn't even answered. Now the interesting part is when you go and look at your bill for the month those 9999999999 calls are listed as unavailable. Now we come to the so called data calls that you don't make or receive that number shows as 17770000001 you can check your data on your number there is no data showing, but when you check you bill it comes off your minutes as voice minutes.
