for me the message keeps telling "head home please".  Which is very weird, so I just keep deleting them.  Is there a way to block certain text messages.

i kept getting missed calls from it, i finally got an opurtunity to answer and it was professional tools and equiptment catalog request response that i filled out online they were verifying my info

I get a call 2 times a day from this number and told hold line for important phone call and get nothing afterwards who is this keep calling I have call block from ATT and that don't work, Also I have call trap and this is on the blacklist still that don't work how do I stop this call. Call trap reveals i as Nova Scotia Jus. Still don't know who what they are.

I got a text saying that i won blackberry bold 900 mobile phone.

So i take it this is a scam

I just received a call on my cellphone showing up as "restricted."  The cell phone company stated the number showing up on their screen was 999-999-9999.  The guy asked for someone I did not know, then proceeded to ask if I wanted to talk to him and asked about my marital status.  I tried politely to end the call, but the person said he would call me tonight at 8:00 p.m.  I told him that was not a good idea, but he insisted he would call tonight.  I have talked with the police and the phone company.

Received four calls from this number in past two days.  No one says anything. Friends are receiving text messages from other numbers saying hello and their names.  The numbers show to be in CA and NY where they don't know people.  When they replied there was never a response.

Settled credit card debt a year ago - call from Creditors Interchange about settling interest rate????

I made some bad choices in the past regarding my use of credit cards and have spent the last few years making it better. This includes settling my outstanding balances on the credit cards that I had defaulted on (it's only fair to pay back what I owe, in some capacity, right?).

Today I received a very pushy call from Creditors Interchange telling me I owed several hundred dollars for a credit card that I payed off through settlement last year. I was calm and checked my paperwork while on the phone and sure enough, I have records of the settlement.

The unpleasant man on the phone informed me that I owed monetary payment on the interest rate (and threw out a 20% rate) that had accrued on the debt. I informed him that I had already settled the debt, but he seemed adamant about what I owe and threatened me on the possibilities of ruining my credit score and kept insisting on bank account/credit card payment information. I refused.

Thoughts?

My impression is that settling a debt effectively closes the door on future amounts that I may owe in the future for the card? In a sense, double jeopardy

Idiot!

Called my cell several times...didn't answer...tried to call back but didn't work.  Called today and I answered..they wanted me to be at my computer so they could determine the origins of some suspicious actvity.  Would not give return call number.   Told them I wasn't at my computer.  Asked the name of the company and they hung up.  Definitely some type of scam!

There was a call on my bill for a number 999 999 9999 and my bill said it lasted for 29 minutes. I never spoke to anyone from that number. Does anyone know what that number is for?

I received a text from 999-999-9999 that sent me a link to a website. I did some research and I discovered the following information from the Telus website:

"Note: The number 999-999-9999 appears on your phone if someone sends a text message using email or from a TELUS website. Messages sent from other carriers may take longer to arrive.
 
The message arrives on your phone."

Unfortunately the National Do Not Call List may not do any good in this situation but if anyone has any advice as to how to block these calls please share!!
