called my house 2 times, left no message, no answer. called the number back with no response. whoever does these calls knock it off! its so [***] annoying!

Got a call from 199 999 9999, the call is off shore from HInduland, you gussed it Bombay, India, offering phony tech suppott, by try to have you down load software that helps them steal your personal data and kills your computers.

I got a phone call from 1-999-999-9999 today talking about "important legal documents"... I just figured it was a scam cause I heard a bunch of background noise. He sounded very aggressive.

I just changed phone numbers because of unwanted phone calls now I am receiving unwanted text messages.  GRRR  This text read, From:  999-999-9999 annaford1212@gmail.com  hello email<robertcole02@live.com> for your cash winning.  

Both of these unwanted events were under the provider TELUS,  I wonder if a person dumps TELUS and uses a different provider, will the BS stop?  Because this a total pain in the butt!

Called twice today. Caller ID showed Oprah Winfrey 999-999-9999. Answered and someone with an accent answered and stated we had problems with our computer. I told the male that it was a scam and had not call my number again and hung up.

They called, I googled it. Some sites say it's Burlington, most people said ITS BLOCKBUSTER. YouTubed it as well, said it could be a prank caller changing caller ID or it could be an international call. They called around 3:10 on May 2, 2014 on my home phone. Hope there stopped!! Maybe it's one of the Jamaican people who is hacking and prank calling. It also said that the person breaths when the reciever awnsers. Also they have asked other people for personal info like your computers info or your credit card!! Please stop them !!! I'm freaked out the call said unknown but I'm guessing prank or telemarketer

So. . .people can route their calls through 999 999 9999 so that they are untraceable, but could it still be a legitimate request? My call told me a complaint had been filed and call a certain number or else etc.ect. . Is it always a scam or could it be legit just wishing to be unanimous?

Got a few of these 999 calls in the last few days.  They never leave a message and I've not been around to answer.  Since it's a spoofed number I guess all our responses could be different.

I also got a call from them!! Did you find out anything about the company or what they were doing?? My guess is that they are scamming people or something??

got messages from 999-999-9999 and they come at all hours , if you answer they hang up but text messages are all symbols and numbers , i text stop ,it did not work ,i called my service provider to block it worked for a couple of days ,now has started again , if anyone finds out the cause behind this please post it here or how to stop it ,i just got a new phone and can not afford another but am seriously considering trashing this one !!!! please help make it stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got a call and text messages from 9999999999 yesterday July 8,2014 at 10:01am,5:59 pm and 11:09 pm on my cell phone. He/she also tex me that He/she saw my picture on facebook and I am cute and want to chat. I ignored and deleted it. and then he texted again. Whoever this person is , is totally a psycho.

I have been receiving text the last 2 days from 9999999999 what a nuisances. One was from ayyvc0415@xzzrbcpywxakx.ca
another from YourGenericMeds43@msg.telus.com and another yesterday that I deleted said something about seeing my picture on facebook, how cute I was please contact me! I deleted it right away. I just want them to stop!

Got 3 text messages from 999-999-9999 in the past two days. It was telemarketing for online pharmacy. Called my phone provider to block this number.

Text scam saying I won 500 pounds from Fifasportsaward2014@gmail.com

I received a call from the number 999-999-9999 I got a bit scared so I didn't pick up. I did some investigating and found out that they are a scam attempting to steal money from people. Do not give your credit card number to them if they ask for it.
