Me and my friend called the number and it picked up and it was a male saying "Emergency services..." and we ended it because we didn't want to get caught calling emergency services. When we looked online to see if the number was from the uk and nothing came up. Creepy hu? Hope this helped.

I'm getting 9999999999 from a prison!  I blocked all unidentified/private calls through my carrier but the inmates evidently found a way around it. They're using pre-paid calling cards that show up as "private" on my phone.  Since no number is listed, I'm unable to block the phone number/ service they're phoning from.  Verizon was helpful but only to the extent they're able.  I blocked the 999 number specifically hoping that will do the trick.  Anyone else tried this?

Receive calls from a wildlife conservation officer in PA - I know who it is but the number still shows as 999-999-9999 on my bill.

Received a call from a number with 999 area code (other numbers weren't 999-9999) at 10:31 on a Saturday night. 😡

I called it and it said "hello 911 what is your emergency, then kept repeating hello like 4 times" then i hung up. I called it again and it  said it wasnt even a number.
Idk what this number is. Im from arizona calling it?

This number calls my phone every now and then, it's like a flair up, when ever they do call, they call me a lot, then it stops and goes away for a while with no calls, then I will get a random call from them, etc. They might have left a voicemail once, But of course I didn't listen to it, never will. And never will I Answer thier call. I live in KCMO.

This is strange.  I found this number on my bill from Spectum (formerly Time-Warner), listed as the phone number associated with my bill. It is definitely NOT my phone number.  I called to have them get it off. They we cooperative but said it must be a "system error".  It sounds like it's some kind of default that the phone company is too lazy to correct. Or some kind of problem exploited by wholesale thieve. Over my paygrade.

Multiple texts with odd combo of #letters and special characters

My phone number is frequently forwarded. ATT identifies number. It appears to be done through a legitimate 3rd party app- the problem is they illegally logged into my Apple ID to get it/ yes I KNOW AND UNFORTUNATELY everyone in my household knew my applied and password on this account and created an iCloud account to watch all my activity- again illegal per law and Apple's terms and agreements. WATCH UOUR APPLE ID. I WAS MARRIED 20 YEARS and thought it was 4ever and we would resolve problems. Unfortunately, only my efforts at reconciling the marriage were genuine. I am working with Apple Executive Team who is AMAZING.I never thought Apple executive would help a mom whose phone was out of her control and she just wanted 4000 pictures of the last 5 years of her kids back. They do NIT care for their regulations to be ignored and began working with a friend on my behalf bc my iPhone is compromised. I'm still truly amazed at everything they were willing to do.
Also all browser activity is rerouted to my Xhusbands (not x yet but not soon ENOUGH-zip code miles away when we live in urban area with plenty of towers- they were using a wireless router and Bluetooth to spy on my calls. Anybody had anything like this? People go too far with divorced and the kids pay the price. Love your children more than you hate your spouse/Xspouse.
