constant calls - no messages and won't take calls when you call back!!

I got a call from this number in the car, they called me a good few months ago and i didnt answer then either!

This nuisance call is constantly ringing my phone,  are this pepole Homeserve / Severn Trent Water ?what can I do do stop it. thanks

my father has just missed 5 calls from this company today. He rang me worried that someone was desperately trying to contact him and he'd been out all day. we have told him not to ring a number unless he knows who it is as there are so many scams . He is tps registered.  These people dont realise what anxiety and worry this causes elderly people.

Just recieved a call from Homeserve on behalf of Scottish Water Board offering me £1 a year for cover on my water. I refused as i never give my details of any kind over the phone. The guy was way too pushy and just wouldn't take no for an answer so i ask to speak to his manager and give him his due he was apoligetic, but the point was, for 20 mins of saying no to this wee little runt was just too much.

Dialled 1471 to find out who called today at 7.35pm. We are registered with the telephone Preference Service. I thought doing so would prevent this type of cold calling.

always getting calls but hang up after 5 rings.   Did 1471 and cameup with Homeserve

Keep getting these calls on my mobile, also they send me mail every month trying to get me to take this cover out.
Pain in the neck, should be a way of spamming these calls out the same way as I do on email.

Guys, please read my 2 posts of 28 April for details of how to get rid of these people once and for all.  I can confirm that after months of receiving their calls, I have not had a single call since I did what I said in the posts.

This firm is on the phone everyday at roughly the same time, you can set your watch by them. They will not take no for an answer. I have even got paperwork from them via my local Water Supplier.

Phoned the 0800 number you gave us and eventually got through to an advisor called Nim.  She said she would remove my numbers from the system and that I should not receive any more phone calls.  She apologised and said I would get one or two until it had filtered through the system then they would stop.  Hopefully this will work.  Sick of it!!!

I am getting calls from this number and it is annoying because on each occasion I am not in to take call and my family members have to. The caller does not leave any message thus leaving the call open to speculation. It is only when I dial 1471 I get the machine saying I was called from Homeserve and that I will be called again later.

What can I do officially to take action against this nuisance?

It's now 2011 - and they are still making a nuisance of themselves - and I havent got any links with them, never had a policy etc - cold calling on my mobile as I have telephone preference for home phone.

Yet another silent message from this number. I get 3 or 4 of these a week, sometimes a lot more. Its been going on for months!

Yes, keep getting calls from this number 01922 420057.  Always worried as there is no one to answer immediately when I say Hello.  They have been calling me almost every week for ages.

three weeks running now, daily calls and voice mails.

This week, 01922 420057 has mainly been claiming to be Santander. Whom I do happen to have a relationship with, but don't expect to be calling from Walsall on a number used by other companies.

If I wasn't in a shared office, and didn't have a young son at home who likes to nap, I'd seriously consider blowing a whistle down the phone at them, as suggested by a previous commenter :-)
