00501

I had a call from 00501 on my landline early this morning.....The foreign male voice said that they had not received my debt payment this month !!......I queried and they said they were UK Debt Company or something similar.......I strongly protested and told them i knew nothing about them and asked for more details at which time he hung up.........Another foreign attempted scam no doubt !!!!!

Almost everyday for 3 weeks they call u tell them u r not interested they then ring back! They r rude and very insistent! They say they r from excel energy and don't understand the word no

If they call and say they are from Microsoft tell them you are running Linux they hang up

call themselves Consumer Lifestyles, not sure how they mask their number , maybe a skype type call,
anyway a nusiance company, hopefully in my phone blocker.

also had a call from this number no idea who it is  am working through the various search engines but no info as yet

The number 00501 is calling me at least once or twice every day at the moment.  I have no idea who it is as I reject the call every time as with a number like that it is bound to be a call you do not want.  I have since blocked the number on my phone.  

When I dialed 1471 after the call, the number is 00501. Sometimes they let it go to my answering machine but no one says anything. However they did leave a message once and a foreign man said he was from "Family Money Savings" and then said nothing but "hello......hello" and then put the phone down.

All these calls are made from India and all are scams of some sort or another most sales based, free boilers is the new one although we are aware that such deals are available in this country if you are on benefits or a private landlord with tenants on full benefits.The call is devised to get as much information about you as possible this is then passed on to paying parties to bombard you with calls relating to loans and other such companies in the U.K., if you are listed with the Telephone preference Service this makes no difference as  the U.K. company will say that you answered a none sales call the one in India and that they are only ringing you to give free advice of course all of this is rubbish.
To ask to have your number removed from their data base makes no difference.I find it more fun to tell them a load of rubbish and waste their time after all after a certain amount of time they are paying full wack for the call.

The calls you are getting are made in great numbers by robots who queue them when they are answered and wait a short time for the telemarketeer to pick them up which they often do not so silence then follows.The foreign man this is the Indian scammer and usual gives a very english name to make you feel more at ease when you talk to them.

This number called me at 9:30 am
It has to be a scam of some sort, look at the dodgey number, maybe I'm just to untrusting
Coz there's so much of it going on!,
Spose I could put it down to aliens, well who ever it is, I'm not ringing back.

No idea who they are, the fone went dead when I answered it...we've noticed that these 'cold call clowns' prefer to talk with females, that's IF there is actually someone on the line when we lift the receiver...there's usually a few second delay when the call is answered, we know then that it's usually a 'clown' on the other end and we can then give them the mute treatment...or just put the fone down depending upon how often they've called that day !! First call from this particular number...

Got a call from this number at 14.56 on 07/03 selling the government's free loft insulation not checked if there is such a scheme

Hi even I am receiving calls from 00401 ; 00501 and 00 966 53 406 5893 ... these guys are irritating me like anything... anyone can help with this

Thanks for that list - I've had a couple of calls - Indian sounding person telling me my computer is sending messages to their server and I have corrupted drivers on my PC.  So flipping annoying if I find I have a problem, I will seek the appropriate help grrrrrrr.

Had a call from 00501 this morning.  Could not hear the man properly as he seemed to be in a noisy place but he said something about 'my accident which was not my fault'.  I told him I have not been in an accident.  The man may have been English but not sure.  Last week I had a missed call from 004065.  

Saw number on caller display so ignored it.

Just had a call from this number. Indian sounding man calling himself Adam - asking for the Homeowner. Said he was calling about a scheme to replace boilers with new ones. Had a new one last year so told him that and he hung up.

Came up on Caller Display as strange International number. Didn't bother answering but had 1571 message saying something about energy saving boilers.

Had a call from an Asian lady wanting to know our electricity details.
Told hew we dint't deal with unsolicited foreign calls and hung up on her.
