00501

I had a call from this number today its a con, they try to say that you have a problem with your computer and for a fee they can fix it.

This guy called my wife 2day while I was at work and told her that our pc had a virus and that she needed to go on a particular website to fix it, she told him that I knew more about computers and to call back after 5pm once I was home, however he told her he did`nt work past 5pm ??????
She called me to ask what it was and I told her it was some kind of a scam...I think I would know if I had a virus on my own pc...if they call you DONT go to the website and tell them to sling their hook.

Just had one too, 7.30pm. They hung up so I dialled 1471.

I received a call from number 00501 at 11:45 am Thursday 5th of June   and a man with an indian accent talked to me but i couldn't understand what he was talking about cuz i was in the car
can you tell the source of this call please ???

We've had 2 phone calls from this number too, when we picked up the phone it wa a dead line.

There is a special place in Hell for this scum.  I am trying to sort things out for my daughter whose husband died suddenly on Tuesday so have to answer every call.  Just got a silent one from these rats.  I really hope they ring back!!!

I too received a call from the no. 00501 on 08/09/11 at 03:36 PM, the man on the other end asked for some "LADDU", I then replied, this is not any "LADDU's " number.
But I cannot be able to understand whose number is this....It's a very absurd number...can anybody please tell me whose number is this????

The people who is caling are hackers... Rly bad hackers, but still..

They are trying to get you, to give them accsess to your computer soo they can hack it and steal your monny/ identety or whatever.

If you cet a call from 00501. Just tell them to go [***] them selfs.. And the call will be mysterisly dissconected... they dont have [***] on you so dont worry if they tell you that your computer is full of malware objekts...

I too rec'd a call from 00501 at 1830 Sun 23.10.11.  I didn't answer the phone as we were about to sit down for dinner. I dialled '1471' and established the number of the caller. I've little doubt that it is some person/organisation who is up to no good or..... just very sad!

00501 rang me today about 13.30 claming to be microsoft, they had recived information form our computer te last couple of days that it was infected with a very bad virus, asking me to go to the computer, turn in on and then she would tell me what to doe. Of course i dident.
BE CAREFUL !!!!
