Hung up as soon as I picked up ... obviously I wasn't quick enough. Used BT 1471

Getting calls from this number 3 or 4 times a week for ages. When I answer it goes dead. Really annoying.

Hung up when i answered.
Calling same number (both with my caller ID hidden and allowed) gets me "Number is not recognised".

Caller hung up when I answered. Totally unacceptable as we are on tps, ex directory and don't give our home number out. Disturbed my meal and then didn't even have the courtesy to speak ti me.

This number has called 5 times in the last 4 days. I don't answer the phone anymore but after the 3 call I decided to ring back and was told that the number was unavailable. Can somebody please stop whoever it is?

No message left on answerphone, but on checking 1471, this number came up.
I am TPS registered, and this has helped somewhat, but last week had someone call to try to get me to do a 'survey', and wouldn't say how they got my number, so I put the phone down on them.
From reading other people's comments about this number, may have been the same company again today.
I work from home, so this type of call is a real intrusion, interrupting my work, and interfering when I am awaiting business calls.

Unobtainable number these [***] should be blocked/cut off/fined.

National Moneysavers doing a survey, which makes a change from phoning up and just going "hello hello hello hello" or making silly noises down the phone. And these people actually get paid to do this ...

However, " Your caller" seems to have got their knickers in a twist! I hope its your boss!

How do you know you are not bothering an elderly person etc? In three hours you or a colleage will have runghundreds of numbers to get 21 to take part, this is a fact. I am sure if they had been rung everyday for three weeks, they would have not taken part. It's true there are companies that take you off their list but your company is deaf and dumb! (not thick just dumb-don't speak when you answer the phone)

Could it be we have bought something and have given our details because we want it delivered and therefore had to disclose them but not given permision to third parties or the trader to use them. But large companies are paying large sums to whoever will use these details entrusted to them to break the cycle and release them back into the system?

Anyway, I do appreciate you have a conscience and I wish this country could once more preduce some real jobs! I am sure you do get some amusing conversations and I hope that you will be lucy to find new friends and a good job  when your company does or is forced to earn a decent living, given all the bad press on this forum. Thankfully I have not had a call today from you, just an Hearing Aid Company, perhaps I should pass them over to your boss? Pardon me, what did he or she say!

I will hopefully not have the need to come on hear again, but hope it helps others wondering who is not letting them get on with their day!

Keep getting calls from 0114-218-0488, but when I pick the phone up no-one is there, tried calling back and got " Number unknown " message!! How can I stop this caller ??

So glad I didn't answer the phone to these (I was outside getting a skuttle of coal when the phone rung), immediately googled the number and will not be answering it if they call again.

TPS are a load of c***p, they don't block all numbers (we're with them) so be warned

I had a call today at 2.24pm from a lady who said her name was Sam calling from National Money Savers asking me to do a survey.
She was asked repeatedly for the company address but wouldn't give this and just said we are nationwide and she worked from home.
Told her i was registered with the TPS and she claimed i had registered on line for this which i hadn't.
Told her i was recording the call and would report this to the TPS and BT.
Number used was 011442 180488.

3 calls today - didn't answer, but very annoying.

Two calls from above this week.  One was silent and the other wanted to do a survey for ?'National Money Savers'.  No chance.  I am supposed to be registered with TPS, so how did this get through?

That is National Money Saver.com but their website doesn't have any contact details other than an e-mail address and you shouldn't give these bleeps an e-mail address to bother you with too. However National Money savers is part of McDowall Media and their sales director is a guy called Matthew Baldwin, his direct line is 01923 288999. Please feel free to give him a call.

These guys keep calling us despite us being on TPS and having made complaints to the information commisioner. Did a bit of digging and found out they are part of McDowall Media. McDowall Media's sales director (the guy who asked Moneysavers to phone all of us) is called Matthew Baldwin. His direct line is 01923288999. Give him a quick call and ask if he'd like to take a survey. Remember to put 141 before that number incidentally! That is also a good name and number for internet surveys. It is time these people learnt that if they bother us then we will bother them!

Moneysavers people - survey to help save money on household bills - suspect it's a front for phishing or marketing something.

Looked up on this site and pleased that the info stopped me phoning them back.
Surely something can be done?
