this is the third time this week this number has called how can i block it ?

Just had a call from an asian guy asking for my boyfriend. Told him he was at work and he said he was calling regarding the computer in the house. I asked him which one (we have 2 laptops and a mac) and he pretended to not understand. When he couldnt tell me which one i hung up as i'd had these people call before.

I received a call from this number today and knowing it is a scam I played them along. I pretended to be very worried and she kept telling me I had an infection on my computer I asked her was it a virus she said yes. I asked her was it the corn flicker virus or the bean flicker virus she said it was a malicious virus and could I turn my computer on I said OK she put me on hold then after a few seconds came back on and just said goodbye and hung up. I have contacted the Police and they are aware of this scam but seem powerless to do anything about it.

The police cannot do anything about this scam because it comes, like so many others, from India.  I loved your way of dealing with these rats.  It seems as if more and more people are becoming aware of what is happening and perhaps, as the numbers increase, the scam will faid.  We can only hope.

Got a call from this number this afternoon. I said 'hello' to which there was silence on the other end. I didn't take long to twig that it was either telesales or a scammer. After reading all this it appears it's the latter!

Just had the same phone call told the guy that my pc came up with a message saying  F--- O-- then i put the phone down . The cheeky git rang back an asked me how many times i had had the message so i told him Go F yourself and put the phone down. He hasnt rung me back again.

This number phoned earlier today, when I answered there was silence at the other end.
They have just called again and this time an asian women asked for someone with a name not recognised by me.....my reply was "No, you have the wrong number", after which more silence. Waste of time....

Am sick of getting these calls, especially when they address me by name and know my postcode !!  

Told them that all my calls are being recorded for police purposes and they hung up !!

Had a call again today from this number 01234765093 say my computer was going to crash unless i did XYZ

All i did was say how sorry that my computer was doing this and that i would get a hammer and smash it and it would not do it again lol

The man could not beleve what i was saying and put the phone down lol i did have to laugh

I had 2 calls today from this number - a bloke from overseas who wanted to talk about my computer and when I told them not to call me he just kept on talking so I  had to hang up.  Reported it to BT who said they would report to Ofcom - they are surprised as it looks like a BT number but is obviously a clone -  I have been getting these calls since December

I have been having this same number call me for 2 years the ethnic guy who calls have just recently started back up calling me i have had 2 this week.they say the same thing everytime they ring we are a company called PC Wizard and we want to fix the viruses on your computer.im sick of the phone calls. i have told them im calling the police which i have done but they dont seem to care they just keep on and on. next time these people ring i will tell them to stay on the line as my calls are being monitered by the police and the police are also tracing where the phone call is coming from. lets see if they call me again. These people are frauds and should be stopped.

i just received a call from this number.i kept him on the phone for about 10mins telling me over and over what it was all about,saying i could not hear him,then i told him where to go.he went.

BEWARE, don't be fooled by the person at this number. The caller is a "scammer". His voice sounds of West African origin. He will tell you that you that he can eliminate your computer of virus's. Which he says is causing your "Windows" programs to slow your computer..  Beware & don't be fooled !!

Got a call lunch time today from ethnic woman asking questions about my computer. Third call this week, reported it. Do not give any info.

They are Back just had a call from them , saying my comp has got a virus, i fell for it for a while till this screen pops up on the comp saying that as soon as i press Ok they will have direct Acsess to the comp , this asian guy keeps on and on press the Ok button Quickly  Before you get timed out , good job i read very quickly , other wise i would have fell for it Hook Line And Sinker !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch Out  !!!!!!

received a call from this number this morning - did not speak so i hung up

I first had a call asking for the Mr of the family who doesnt live here anymore and they hung up then i had another call today from this number asking for the Mrs claimed to be a comupter company (didnt catch the name unfortunately) and said that there was a problem with current windows software having malicious hardware on it etc. Was an ethnic lady and she was like 'can you please turn your computer on' when i informed her that i had enough anti-virus protection to not get any malicious viruses etc she hung up....obviously it wasnt that much of a problem then was it....

Just read an above comment and recognised the name as PC Optimisation

My friend was silly enough to pay what they asked for, they now have an empty bank account, no fb and a useless computer, they can do anything if u let them in! X
