Had a call from the number this evening saying they had difficulty in delivering a parcel to my next door neighbour.  They quoted his name and asked if he still lived there.  I said yes. I was asked for his phone number and I said I did not know it.  I shall be careful in future to say nothing about anyone living near me.  I don't if they thought they were tracking me or my neighbour.  They did not ask who I was.  They did quote my correct address which I confirmed.  Maybe they are searching for me. I shall not be quaking in my boots.

The caller said that the he had some mail for a neighbour two doors down from me and i was the closest person he could contact!

I said that he had moved months ago.

He than asked a number of questions such as did I know where he had moved to, is any one still in contact with him, or if he had any relatives in the area?

I said no to all of the above of course.

my neighbour came to my door saying this number called for me and that they had a package for me, thought it was a bit dodgey so i googled the number and it looks like it is! bloody cheeky [***]!!! my neighbour is 85 yrs of age and can hardly walk, this makes me realy mad, how do these people get away with this kind of thing!

I also tonight had a neighbour at my door saying that a guy called asking personal details about myself and my husband even though he didnt have our surname`s obviously my neighbour called to let me know the guy called claiming to have a parcel that needed delivering to me she asked how he got her number then he  went on to say he had a list of my neighbours numbers too she went to the post office to ask them and they advised her to contact the police as it sounded fishy ive called the number which says it is a telegram company which after reading the above articles is rubbish im going to contact them again for further explanations tomorrow and if im not satisfied taking matters further as nobody has any right to contact other people with personal data that is meant to be private and confidential.

I think if more people contact the trading standards agency the more  something can get done about this scam of a company you can also call the telecommunications watchdog company to complain regarding these numbers. I have just mailed the trading standards company and will be contacting further companys if i get no satisfaction tomorrow when i call them back to try to speak to there managers...doubt it tho...but you never know if i get bull then the [***] hits the fan so to speak..i think its something called data protection which everybody has a right to by law.. they have broken every bit of that law by contacting neighbours etc..

called this company and asked to speak to the manager i was then passed on to somebody called reneeta i then explained the calls to my neighbours asking for information about myself and my husband and how they had gotten my neighbours telephone numbers she went on to say they are not breaking any law in calling neighbours as no details was given out i then explained to her if they had a delivery for me why not just knock on my door rather than harrassing my neighbours, i went on to say have they heard of the data protection act and informed them i have contacted the police and watchdog and trading standards regarding calls to my neighbours and put the phone down she didnt realise i have a nvq in welfare rights and i know my law, hopefully i or my neighbours wont be hearing from these people again.

I have just reported this lot to the Information Commissioner's Office as they are obviously totally unethical.  I do not want to receive any more calls from them about my neighbour, who I hardly know.

i have had calls and letters from these people and so have my neighbours. the thing is the person does not even exist and person i  knew with a close match to the name died six years ago. very dodgy will not give them anything thanks everyone for the info.

had a letter from telogram 2 days ago asking me to confirm a old address from about 6 yrs ago i havent replied but found out there are related to capquest can there give me a county court judgent before there prove who i,am any help would be appreciated

Had a call from this number, a scary lady called Zoe called asking about some man on Muttenhole Road, can someone please explain to me what the hell is going on ? I have a family, and for there sake i hope we are not in any danger !

I received a letter which stated that they had a message for me When I phoned the number they asked for my address and date of birth and said they would send the letter on to me... WHAT LETTER???

I received a call last Friday afternoon asking for xxxxxxxx who is my son.  I offered to take a message for him as he no longer lives here.  They then told me they were calling from Telogram and they had a letter for him and asked me for his new address.  I told them I would take their number and pass it to him to call them.  They then quoted three address he has lived at in the past seven years, none of which he is resident at now.  Again, they asked me for his latest address, which I refused to give.  They then asked me if I could give them his telephone number, which I also refused.  I was suspicious by now and googled Telograms only to find this and other sites.  If they ring me again or any of our neighbours or relatives, I will be reporting them to the police.  How do they know all my son's addresses?  That's what I find scary.  I can only think that they have this information from the rental agency he has previously used.  Thankfully, he is renting through a different company now, so I hope the trail will go cold. He has had debts in the past but is clear of them all now.

Luckily missed the call.  I'm Caller Preference so they should not call me.

my partner recieved a call asking for me as they had a important message/parcel for me...my partner did not confirm any details about me but what was scary is they relayed my last 7yrs addresses!!!how do they get this info...anyway more alarming my neighbour just called its 9pm nearly...to say had call asking for me and checking where i live ect...is this a scam/it must be illegal as you all say/what the best thing to do about htis...any advice would be appreciated.

This is a debt collection agency! They are underhand and filth. Report it to Trading Standards in writing. Never give the DCA your personal details.
(They find past addresses by searching a persons credit file.)

Get advice from the CAB if you are being hounded by this lowlife.
