I stupidly paid £250 as I too was guaranteed thousands of punds as I has a BMW lease agreement which they told me was a certain reclaim. They assured me that I could never be out of pocket as I would be returned this fee if no PPI was reclaimable. When the paperwork arrived I realised their fee was at least 33%. I phoned and complained and was treated very abruptly and told they had listened to the calls I had made and that they had done nothing wrong. I contacted the Office of Fair Trading and was told to complain in writing and ask for a copy of the phone calls. In the meantime I contacted my credit card and loan agreement companies and was told no PPI was paid. It is so easy to do this yourself but they make it seem so difficult and that they are the only people who could reclaim it for you. I accused them of unfair enticement and that they had not drawn my attention to important information which was therefore misleading (the fee of 33%). I had a phone call back within 48 hours of receipt of the recorded delivery letter (as nice as pie) informing me my refund was in the post! Please take heed and stay well away.

Remember you have a 14 day cooling off period by law

I forgot to mention that you have a 14 day cooling off period by Law. You must complain in writing and send recorded even if they fob you off over the phone. Do not doubt yourself. I knew what I had been told during the phone call and you are entitled to have access to these calls. They will not help you in any way and I was actually told by the customer complaints lady that they do not discuss fees unless directly asked. Please please do not put yourself through this.

They are investigating a number of these claims cowboys and fining them for making unsolicited slaes calls but require our reports to act.

our call centre pushes through bought data for our dm purpose..we also have capability to qualify by "the way we work"people with ppi ..we can pass these under your m o j but are open to offers

Aims review:- Thank you so much for all your advice so professional. Glad I joined for only 299 and the PPi was free until i got 12000 cheque in the post. Brilliant, not a scam at all, many thanks.

Stop moaning, you have only paid half now your want a refund, give it a chance, it is not a scam. PPi checking is free for everyone, its your banks and lenders who have scammed you stupid, don't you watch the news and Utility services for 250 quid are two different things entirely. Actually the membership fee is 299 and ppi is free until you receive your robbed money back from your lenders, then they take a fee, so what you get is a load of cash back, so groow up please.

You don't need anyone else to claim PPI back for you, you can do it yourself and save the 'membership fee' so...you are in no position to mock others!
