Ive just been called by 07515585775, i typed that number in here & i was told that 0125630676 are the same people. Ive never had anything from Lovefilms or Tiscali so how the hell did they get my number? Rest assured if they call me again all they'll be getting is an f*** off!

i recieved a message about half an hour ago, was conerned so i called my phone provider, and they are contacting the number on my behalf, i have do debts or anything, would it be wise to make the phone call myself to clear it up or ignore them?

I just got the message from david shaw too. Good job I googled it and since reading the comments on this site, haven't bothered to ring them back.

Going by the comments on this lovely site, I am pretty certain it can only be Fitness First who have used this lousy company to intimidate me to pay them money I don't owe.

Got the same text from this David Shaw fella and came straight on here and got all the info I needed - a quick think made me realise what it was for so I called up Fitness First and sorted it directly with them. Now just waiting to see if these CARS people keep bugging me...

I have just had a Text from the Lovely Mr Shaw, I know that it must be to do with Fitness First, so have rang them Directly and sorted it out. What a lazy bunch of [***] to send a text! If its that urgent, ring or write a bloody letter!

just received the same text, twice in a matter of mintues saying i need to call David Shaw...urgently.  i've ignored them having seen all your comment and will contiune to do so.  i don't have any disputes or belong to LF so have no idea when i'm being chased!!!

I had the same texts twice in one day.. Phoned them up and some lady asked for a reference No, I asked who I was talking to and she said CARS but wouldn't tell what or who Cars were about, I did not pass my reference No on and told them that if they want any info off me they can phone me, She said they wont do do that so I hanged up.

I'm so glad i googled it first!!! I joined love film yesterday so they are quick to get hold of my number. If they do call i will deny who i am (after reading what they are like on this site).

i lost my job around june last year, and i had a phone and mobile internet from 3 network, but with no job and no money i can not keep the dd's on with the bank so i stopped the dd's, and i got letter's from CARS, but you can not phone them to ask if you can make monthly payment's to them they wont the lot there and then if you got it or not, one of the letter's was for a home visit on thursday he was a day late, must be to pick up the 08 JAG he was driving good to see were the charge's go.

Just joined the David Shaw club. Turns out to be Fitness First. I cancelled my membership in writing on 23rd Jan, and stopped the direct debit for 1st Feb. They emailed me to say I had to pay another month's subscription (one month's notice is in their terms). I emailed back, asking for their bank details so that I could pay by BACS. No reply. 10 days later, I phoned them and paid it by debit card. A week after this, threatening letters (from them) started. A further week down the line, today, this "David Shaw" starts his nonsense.
I have just called Fitness First, who confirm C.A.R.S. are acting for them. C.A.R.S. are apparently chasing me for £25, for late payment. Fitness First admit that I do not owe this, and will instruct C.A.R.S. accordingly. I told Fitness First I am fining them £50 for wasting my time, and will take them to court for harrassment if they don't pay.
Their Regional Manager will, they say, call me back.

seems like a scam. Where is he pulling our names from breach of data protection.

I got a unidentified text from David Shaw as well - I know this is for a Tiscali account which I had over a year ago and is for £14. Money that i don't even owe since I gave them a month's notice therefore I don't owe them for that stupid month's worth of cancellation charge.

For all the times I wasted calling them up for my service that didn't work - ha, I'll keep my £14

I've had this and am a lovefilm account member. It turns out I havent updated my card details (other one was lost) and I now owe the grand some of)..... £3.91!!!!!!!!!!

i have got text from david shaw and with no number.. i have called them through the number they have provided. i spoke to women who asked me for my details. i refused to give my details.. i then asked for david shaw and she said he was in a meeting, i called them back again and asked for david shaw and she said he was a computer lol, she keep saying i can't say anything under the data protection act... i was shocked i asked her do you even know what data protection act is... i said to her i am not asking you to confirm my details,.. i am asking why I got the texted and what is the campany name.... she wouldn't say...i give her hard time..so she got so angry she put the phone down... nasty fools

Just recd txt from David Shaw! Rang no, they wanted me to give my personal details over the phone!! Which i wont do!! So am none the wiser, but have recently wrote complaint letters to tiscali and direct line!!!

I also had a txt today asking me to call David Shaw urgent with a ref number. I thought I would serch glad i did. I will not be calling him.
