Bought one from em the other day, before I realised all the comments on here (if I had before I ordered I certainly would not have gone through with it) and I have to say that the contract that they have sold me is saving me loads of money, im getting more talk time, better coverage than my previous network (O2) AND ive just ordered a free laptop from them.
Is this a different company to the one everyone is talking about and demonizing here?
People are quick to critisize but I wonder how many of the people who have posted here have actually asked them to remove them if they dont want calls or have taken out a contract with them to comment on thier customer care. - dsim also getting these calls and also from 0179248440 i also never answer numbers i dont know,but keep getting alot of these calls..ive now put them in my fone as"dont answer"

- GemI've had 3 calls from this number today. I didn't answer the first 2 (they've called me a number of times before today so I knew who they were) but answered the third. As soon as he'd finished talking I asked if they would stop calling, he said "oh we've called a few times before yeah?" and I said yes and he apologised, wished me a nice day and hung up. A nice difference from the first time I answered this call when they hung up as soon as I asked who they were.
- lukecontract runs out in three months? yes, need a new phone because my current 02 contract is awful, i shall never use 02 again, i have signed up to free free fones select prior to reading these comments, would like a comment by someone who has signed up and can honestly tell me if it is a scam or not, i am very worried now, i will bookmark and reply to this thread once i have received my phone and how it goes.
- MikeI bought a 3 mobile contract from these people in June, which, admittedly, was a better deal than my previous contract with Orange, and there were no problems initially. I also bought an insurance policy for the phone. When I had an accident with the phone at the end of July I filled in their claim form and sent the phone off for replacement. Here we are today in the first week in September and I still don't have a phone back!! No matter how many times you call, you just get fobbed off with some useless excuse. They are fine when selling you something, but, apparently that's all they want to do. Don't have anything to do with them is my advice.

I feel really sorry for some of the people making the calls, what a [***] job.

they claim they can upgrade you even though they cant and than say it will cost £10 for delivery and then try and get your bank details off you and claim any charges will be refunded to you later
anyone that says this company is legit probably works for them.

they cold call you pretending to be from what ever company you are with and tell you you can upgrade
sometimes they may even lumber you with a new contract while you still have your current one ( you were never due to cancel or upgrade your current one anyway).
they ask for your bank details so they can send tou the phone regardless of what you say
this has been going on for years with different companies.. i know they have taken a few of them to court
if any company rings you offering an upgrade claiming to be from your network provider .. they should know ALL your deatils.. so becarful guys - jonI got the call today and yes they are trying to poach your contract with the bribe of a free upgrade etc. How did they get my number and how do they know when the contract is up, hmmm let's see who would know;

whoever sold me the phone (in my case carphone warehouse)
It's just a wild guess but I suspect that carphone warehouse captures sales data, bundles it up then sells it to someone else, simples

- AnnoyedI keep receiving calls from this number at odd hours of the day and night.When i have answered, the line goes dead immediately. I'm totally fed up with this. Why does nobody know who these clowns are or how they are getting our personal information?

- Mikere my comment on 2nd September. My problem with these clowns remains unresolved and I am now threatening them with court action under the Supply of Goods and Services Act (1982) section 14. I've now found out that they lifted £45 from my Visa Card on 3rd August and I've seen nothing for it. I'll keep you posted.

- Annomusjust had a ring from them sayin that they were from t-mobile and that my contract has 3 months left, it doesnt it has about 6 months left, who are they????
- annomusFree phone select, i used to work for them. They do have some good deals depending on what phones you want and how much you want to spend. Only sometimes the phone is not always an upgrade, be aware that your contract is due to end otherwise you will have 2 contracts to pay for. Some times the deals they offer are better than in the shops but it depends on what you want, when your contracts due to end and of course what phone you have at the moment/ what phone you want. If you want to stop these calls registering with the tps is adviseable on 0800 070 0707 but it may not stop all the calls. Its best to just ignore the calls eventually they do stop.

- vixthis number has called me twice and i answer the call they hang up, im on t-mobile but dont speak to me at all.
- GabriellaIve had 6 missed calls off this number in the last few days, as a teenager i hate talking on the phone anyway and rarely answer and i NEVER answer to numbers i dont know. After the first few calls i chucked the number into google and this came up, I know for a fact I have well over a year and a half left on my contract, I dont really want to answer the calls and go through all the hassle and after reading some comments saying that people are still getting calls after registering with TPS, I guess thats no way to stop them, but does any one know of a deffinate way I can just block them or something? Would be a great help.
